Lo Celso only uses his left leg. I don't think it is the best option. Mou has to give Bale a chance in a premier match.

At the moment, it depends on the game. But for me, on current form if we're playing an even game Lucas would be my pick and i'd go for Bale in the 'lesser' games. I don't quite understand why Bergwijn is preferred to Lucas at the moment. The latter has been more impressive this season and we know that he's also diligent in his defensive duties.

Lamela is always going to be Lamela and with his injuries he's always just going to be a wildcard pick.

I also wouldn't mind Alli getting given a couple of games at RWF. He's not in anyway pacy but his movement is next level and his work rate under Poch used to be great.

Lamela and Bale are still my preference but I'm in the camp of wanting Dele to make a big comeback.

I feel like we're going to regret missing out on the goals Dele can bring. Obviously, if Bale explodes then great but other than that Dele's the only one with a goalscoring knack. Moura, Bergwijn and Lamela would do well to get 10 league goals between them. And if we don't find someone else to chip in, this form isn't going to last. We know Son is a streak player, and with H playing deeper he's not in the box that much. We need more goalscorers.

I questioned him a month or so ago and got slated on here, he looks like he’s going through the motions. We certainly haven’t had our money’s worth so far

You questioned Bale? What was your method? Did you water board / sodium pentathol him ? We’re his papers in order? ?

Need to offload the likes of lamela (rarely fit) and moura (inconsistent) whilst we can get money for them.

Not convinced by bergwjyn either, I don’t see him being that quick and I think we can improve on him. He’s hard working and I’d rather keep him than the two above to see if he will improve.

Bale, I hope will improve but he’s offering very little at present and looks a shadow of his former self but we have until the summer to fully judge him.

personally, I think we should go all out for Leon Bailey. He’s the next Son, two footed, very quick, clinical in front of goal and he’s only 23.

Son, Kane and Bailey would be exceptionally good.

I think that we need to add this type of quality signing now to the team.
Same with skriniar at cb. Sell Sanchez to fund it.

The issue is that Jose needs that player to be very strong defensively to counter balance Kane and Son - this is why Bale has not been playing. Lamela I think is the most likely guy for that role once he is fit.

If Dele can do the defensive work, his off the ball running and one touch finishing is far superior to Bergwijn and Lucas.

With Kane dropping deep Dele making those narrow runs off the right or even left could work.

It really depends on the competition though. Stevie and Lucas can stretch defenses in ways Dele can't. Dele recognizes open space and drifts into that open space rather than force his way in.

Depends on the game, depends on what the function is and also form of the players. Bergwijn isn't doing much going forward but clearly is doing what he is being asked of, and it has given us balance.

Di María is released in June 2021. It would be a good option without spending money. Mourinho loved him in his time at Real Madrid.

Genuine question, why does the fact that someone plays in a "forward" position automatically mean they need to be an attacking player? When I was a kid, full backs were there to sit back and stop wingers from putting crosses in, but now the position has developed to the point where they're among the most important attacking players in many elite teams' systems.

So on that basis, why are people so against us doing the counterpart to that with some of our forward players? Having a forward whose primary role is to stop the opposition playing out of the back or track back with wingers etc. Isn't really a problem as long as your other forwards are able to score enough goals to win you the games, which so far they largely have done
