Anyone else notice that we do not concede and do not lose when Sanchez is captain?

son being back could be big for our season, before the goal he looked more like himself, let’s hope he truly is

Son will get the plaudits for his goals (credit to him as he was so much better today), but my MOM went to Tanganga who I thought was excellent today.

Skipp had a great cameo too, as did Danjuma.

3-0 win while resting Kane - not bad. Hope the bedwetters have calmed down now after all the over-reaction to the line up being announced.

I've been calling for Bissouma to get more game time but thought he was really poor today. Seemed pretty disinterested and did'nt manage a forward pass all frst half.

He start to play a bit more direct later in the game but found his passing completely ineffective.

Defence preety solid overall. Sanchez solid. Royal better than Doherty when he came on.

Son fantastic. Danjuma impressive.

Kulu and Perisici pretty meh today.

Son easily. Besides the finishes he was the only player who had any penetrative ability with the ball until the breakthrough.

Completely disagree re Bissouma, thought he did really well recycling the ball today.

Son was MotM but also agree Bissouma looked good. Thought he was better than Bentacur tonight

So obvious Bissouma is on a different level as a footballer to Hojberg, presumably he's playing to instructions as would love to see him burst forward more like he did with Brighton.

I’d really like to see him in for PEH for a bit tbh as feel he’d be better at bal retention and dominating the middle.

But don’t reckon Conte will drop PEH from his first choice line up annoyingly.

Forster nothing to do and did it well
Back three comfortable night even with a couple of Sanchez moments, Tanganga good involvement for goal. Lenglet great cross for Perisic chance.
Sess was simply poor and a lot of play was down our left and almost always broke down with Sess. Doherty quiet night nothing bad or good.
Bissouma good performance and look forward to seeing more of him. Bentancur not at his best.
Kulu not at his best and drifted in and out. Perisic had some good moments and great little ball for Son goal.
Son clear MOTM and looked to be enjoying his game. Top drawer finishing and looked to get involved.
Skipp and Danjuma both good performances and exactly what you want from your bench.

Sanchez for the audacity to undoubtedly, 1000% I intentionally scorpion-kicking the ball over his head in his own box…

Happy for Son, loved what Skipp bought when he came on. To the point where if he could do that week in week out he would be a shoe in for our CM.

Also, can't help but like Gil and the style he brings us.

Also good introduction and impact from Dan of Juma... :cautious:
