Back 3 and mid 2 were excellent as was Emerson. At half-time I was going for Lenglet. 2nd half came down to between Holjberg and Bentancur but just thought PEH did that little bit more.

Shame the front 3 and Perisic didn't show their class. We'd have won had they done

Really improved performance, but let down by the front three, especially Sonny who couldn't trap a dead fly under a bucket.

Defenders 6 - I didn't think they were exceptional at all. Frankfurt had chances mostly from defensive unit fcuking about.

Midfield 7 - did a job defensively but I just felt they weren't decisive enough going forward. It was always hit the ball towards a forward, instead of actually settling on the ball and waiting for runs into channels or overlaps from wing backs

Forwards 4 - Lately has been kind of strange watching our attackers. It feels like they are almost too desperate to score or create a chance and are snapping at everything including simple through balls. They had chances but did their best to fluff them. I did actually like Gil when he came on, he was getting on the ball and trying to move the ball forward and really create. But you can see his desperation to deliver cos it's unlikely he will play again for another month.

Conte 4 - frustrating. I feel recent tactics really impacted today as I just felt attackers were rushing everything. There is so much emphasis on them being super efficient, that not playing well in the last few games meant they have lost their sharpness

Between Hojbjerg, Romero and Lenglet for me. I'll say Lenglet because I want us to sign him permanently (and always have done).

Agree with most of what you say but how can you give lloris a 3…didn’t do anything wrong really and kept us in the match
Not the reply from the op but his kicking is utterly hopeless. If you watched all of his kicking clips you would think he was a Sunday league player. He is that bad. World class shot stopper. Everything else he’s really not good.

Lloris - 5 -Poor with his feet, bit meh overall
Emerson - 4 - responsible for two of their best chances and his efforts at crossing are embarrassing
Romero - 7 - solid for most part
Dier - 6 - ok
Lenglet - 7 solid , tired near the end
Perisic - 4 - disappointing tonight, usually offers so much more
Bentacur - 8 - always looks for the ball and adds a much needed touch of class
Hojbjerg - 6 - improved in the 2nd half
Son - 2 - everything he touched went wrong
Kane - 3 - still well out of form
Richarlson 4 - worst performance in a while

Gil - so lightweight

Conte 4 - will be happy enough with away point, but would have liked to see some changes tonight, maybe sat against Brighton.

Best football one-liner ive heard in a long time.
Feels like it was written for more than one of our current squad!

Lloris no complaints about his keeping but again let down by his distribution.

All three CBS played well and Romero and Lenglet particularly aggressive. WBs not great but to be fair they were feeding a front three that were totally out of sorts and struggled to retain possession, make passes and were 1/2 a yard off the pace. The front three should have had a feast today.

Bentancur another good performance and PEH solid enough.

Subs - think Sess keeps looking stronger and gives confidence he can start at LWB, Gil was I boy playing men and just looks too lightweight.

MOTM for me Bentancur and really liked Lenglet and Romero performances.

The highlight for me was when Bentancur drove forward on one occasion. He needs to do that more. The rest of the time the team just look petrified. Still too many missing pieces of the puzzle. Early days, but we’re not as good as we thought.

Thought we played really well. I’m sure if we put away one of our chances and ran out 0-1 winners a lot of you would have a totally different tone to your posts. Amazing how many of you still judge the score rather than the performance.

Its a familiar story. Despite attacking options, looked toothless upfront and there were mistakes at the back. We had so many chances, we should have been out of sight....at least we didn't throw it all away like Sporting game. Next 2 home games are simple, must win and from what i've seen in away games, we should win them...

Id say that most fans this season have had to focus on the results but the performances, in my opinion, have been mostly turgid and insipid. Thankfully, in the end, as fans we all want the same thing...success.

With the quality of our forwards, why do they look like they panic every time we get into the final 3rd? Feels like our fowards' confidence is dropping.

It's a decent result, and a good performance right up until we hit that final 3rd, then it all goes to shit. It's a recurring theme this season.

Exactly but first and foremost his job is not to concede goals and he kept us in the game

Our forwards all seem to have the jitters at the moment. Confidence is low and they're all snatching at chances.
