I saw a lot of users here wanted Milos to start in DM before the match. I am not saying Milos is bad and Fazio/Vorm is good. But if you guys think that milos are ready for NLD without any first team action this season, then it is not fair to at least blame Poch's rotation for this match as well.

However, I still don't want to see Fazio anymore, maybe only for the Qarabag away game

I think carrol played well.

I thought he did 2nd half for sure. 1st half there was one occassion he got the ball in the box with his back to goal and I was screaming for him to turn and hit it but he laid it off sideways...is that coached or instinct ?

I voted Rose btw

Note that we couldn't rest Dier or Kane for some reason that eludes me lol

Ronseal game;

Players who haven't played looked rusty and off the pace.
Players who haven't had a break looked knackered.
Players who tried not to make any mistakes looked uninspiring.
Players who don't learn played like they always do.

Didn't Woolwich do the same ?

Vorm..the first goal is something we don't accept as Hugo doesn't allow mistakes like that.. I like Vorms quick distribution but overall average.. as an understudy can we expect more?

Trippier... looked really uncomfortable when sanchez came on.. didn't see too much to be pleased or displeased about.

Rose.. pretty solid.. still worry for high balls in the box. Really believe him and Davies can rotate depending on who is opposition.

Fazio.. Slow and culpable for allowing arsenal back in.. I can understand having him to combat mertasacker on corners and bullying giroud aerially but him and Vorms mistakes cost us

Wimmer.. not bad, needs to communicate better with runners in behind and stay switched on

Dier.. looked tired throughout despite having a positive impact

Carroll.. Tidy (think that word will stick with describing him)

Eriksen.. good, tired for last 20

Chadli.. thought he always looked dangerous.. was disappointed when he was taken off as we were massively on top at that point.

Townsend.. nothing good.. but again we could've done with his crossing in last 10 mins

Kane.. getting closer but it's evident that after the season he had and u21 euros he needs a break.. shouldn't be playing 4 games in 10 days

I'm not going to comment on the subs as i feel poch got it wrong.. perhaps another 10 minutes mightve been enough to get second with starting 11.. although I could accept that he felt the need for Son..

Overall.. I'm not disappointed.. a fairly good performance with a lot of squad players and I'm not too disheartened about going out of competition.. I know that's classed as blasphemy to say that but I class Europa as our biggest comp this season..

We're due a city win!!

We were far too nice all game. Someone needed to stick one on that **** Flamini. Will never forget that assault on Corluka in the San Siro years ago. From about 100yards away it looked a disgraceful challenge and seeing it later on the telly confirmed my thinking

Kane clattered the fuck out of Flamini in the corner up their end. Man and ball.

True...but that's what Poch is there to do. He needs to make those tough decisions even if the crowd don't like them.

Because the same fans will be whinging about why Dier and Kane are so tired later in the season believe me.

I don't think the Milos situation is helping either as far as DM is concerned, because he would be getting game time if Poch could pick him.

Christ, we weren't that bad. We crumbled after the 2nd goal but before that things were going pretty swimingly. Fazio left a lot to be desired mind.

We started overplaying it in there box though, that was very Arsenal of us. Rose is Jesus. Slagging Clinton and Son seems fucking daft as they've only just got here! Carroll played well, defo worth keeping hold of IMO. He's got something about him that lad.

Worried about the brute that as Dier being knackered, but it was the derby I could see why he had to play... Not sure he's going to be at the races this weekend though.

Kane, this lad has really got it, just needs to relax but that will come with age.

Spurs Ratings thread - Not great, a lot of slagging off players who are young and or just arrived. Rating them down is fine, just to harsh with a lot of the young ones and new arrivals.

I've really wanted Carroll to come good l, but I just don't think he's going to be what we need.

In really limited time from both I've liked what I've seen from Winks better and think he should be getting the opportunities for starts and subs that Carroll is getting right now.

Vorm, when given a chance, often fails to show that he's capable of being our No.1 keeper.

I thought Dier was great again.

Rose a great attacking threat.

Carroll out of his depth. Sorry.

Wimmer i thought was grand despite Jamie Redknapp slagging him off.

Fazio was rusty and had a horror show. Feel a bit sorry for him - a bit like Carroll - it was a big game to come in for - but not since Anthony Gardner have I been so nervous about a defender (and that's saying something after Chiriches inthe Europa last year).

I get it's an unfortunate draw from the manager's perspective in a comp that is low priority but that's who we got & you have to pay the hand you are dealt. It was just 1 extra game. Jan & Hugo had to play.
Wheeling out Fazio & Vorm was a disgraceful decision & he's brought unnecessary pressure on himself by annoying so many fans.
Even if we had won, it would have just been getting away with it, the fans were still infuriated with the error waiting to happen line up.
Go for it, get a goal or two up & bring kane off, instead we gift them goals, end up chasing the game & kane plays the full 90 in defeat.
Watch them go on a big unbeaten run now when they were 1 more defeat away from a crisis until our own Tottenham manager gifted them a great big gift wrapped Fazio sized get out of jail card - cheers Poch.

I think you're dramatically over reacting

I can't see this loss bringing any pressure on Poch, I think the next time we win (hopefully Saturday) it will be forgotten

I also think you're overstating the impact a victory would have had on Arsenal

I'm in the other corner of the Park Lane. That is a long way away for me now!

Saw HK clatter someone but didn't register that it was him. Shame he got up

That's your opinion, fine. I disagree. If you offered me & win over city or a win over Arsenal it's a no brainer. So winning the weekend or whenever it next it is won't change my opinion that last night was a monumental cock up.
How can you overstate the impact of a victory over arsenal by the way?! It's kind of important ...

I'm saying you're overstating the impact it would have had on Arsenal

Them losing a League cup fixture having made 10 changes was never going to send them in to free fall or anything and their winning last night will not send them on a long winning run. They could easily go on a long run but they could just as easily have done that still if they had lost last night in my opinion

It's frustrating to lose and a win would have been big to us fans - I'm not disputing that at all

Why I am saying you're over reacting is because I don't agree last nights loss will pile any pressure on Poch and I don't think a win would have derailed Arsenal
