I thought the days of me getting names on the back of jerseys were long gone, until Rafa arrived. The first player I got on a jersey since, probably Sheringham. Loved him. Such a great player, in such a great team too.

Unfortunately he wouldn't be able to compete in our team now, although he could probably show Eriksen how to take a corner, and Chadli how to stay cool as ice 3 yards from goal so he doesn't miss any more sitters. I think in a coaching role he would be great, especially for our younger players, and although he wouldn't cut it, he's exactly the type of player this team is lacking. He's a pure winner with massive experience. Great player. Great wife too.

Alas, the wife is no more.

Made for Spurs. The biggest tragedy is that he didn't come to us sooner.

Firstly I should say that I agree he's too old now and likely to not be up to the demands of our league now

But...

Would probably still be a better option off the bench than Soldado to be fair - at least we know he knows where the net is

I can't see it happening but if it did I could still see him being a useful impact sub and he could probably still profit from knock downs in the box (which Kane does well)

Sorry if this sounds harsh but that's kind of ridiculous, I don't get what the point in posting the video is. We all know how good he was, but that's past tense. I can throw in a montage of Pele from when he was good, but it doesn't mean that we should sign him in his current state. Look at Gerrard's situation with Liverpool for example..

So long as you include the over head kick from Escape to Victory then I'm in
