Lets be fair, does he really fit in to the way that AVB is playing/going to play? I don't think so.

Look we all love Rafa, he was great for us in parts. The goal Vs Inter, the CL campaign in general, the last 10 games of last season. But at the same time he was a big game player and was not consistent by any means.

Having said that the players we have purchased are not improvements on him, so in that respect I am sad to see him go. Plus he was an iconic player who played with a smile and played like he wanted to win.
