One of my favourite ever Spurs players in an exciting time that is now sadly passed. I'm not living in the past and still believe we look good heading into the future. But, we had exciting players like Modric, Bale developing with King still featuring semi regularly. He added a touch of class to top off a great attacking side. I couldn't believe it when I read that he had signed for us at the last minute.

Loved his passion, connection with the fans and his goal scoring against Arsenal and in the champs league.

His 2 seasons at Spurs will remain in my mind for a long time. I loved it

Grrrr so true. Could have had Suarez!!! Frustrating and sad to see but lets hope out next gen of VDV, Modric and Bale are on the horizon somewhere. Unfortunately I suspect that the latter is a once in a generation type player.
