8 penalties. Bonkers.
Just watched Goldbridge. Worth it.Can highly recommend watching some of the reactions of the ‘live watch alongs’
Wild that if Chelsea win their game in hand they move to 7th and 2 points off United. Proper indictment of how shit the mid-table pack has been this year, United among them.
If our midfield works on the day and theirs perform like this I cant see them beating us. Caceido and Fernandez were poor, how did they end up giving Brighton so much for Caceido and Cucarrella?Imagine where Chelsea would be this season without Palmer (p)
Palmer is a cracking player but I wouldn't say he's anything like Kane as a player thoHindsight but I am gutted we didn't sign Palmer. As close to Kane as you can get. He's a brilliant passer most games and extremely unselfish with his passing too. He can score as well and take a penalty.
I'm not sure how his stats will look in 10 years time but I'm impressed.
Granted i havent seen him all the time but when i have i dont see him dominating games, but yes he is very good for a 21year old. Its just tonight i have seen him compared to hazard by a chelsea fan, ohara said he is as good as bale, and now one of our fans has compared him to kane. All three of those are leagues above him. Half his goals have been penalties, (again great temperament no doubt) but take them away and 8 goals in 26 league games with a few of them being deflected or scuffs, doesnt paint him to be this massive beast. He's a 21 year old kid. His output and performances in big situations this season are undoubtedly excellent. Whether he's signing of the season or not doesn't really matter. Taking our biased spurs had off, it's clear the kid looks like a future star. We'd be gassing him up to no end if he was in our shirt.
Flamin’ galahs!Apparently that ref is Australian. The theory among the wackier United fans is he was scared they were going to catch us and that's why he gave everything Chelsea's way.
I said that six weeks ago but after dropping the WH and Fulham points and having to play the top three, coupled with them only having Liverpool and Arsenal at home and their result tonight I’m now a bit concerned.
It’s the kind of game they turn up for.United have Liverpool next, so real opportunity to increase the gap between us and them.
I was when I posted that but ten minutes later I’ve slightly changed my view! Not sure if you're being serious or not. On the basis that you are, the fact is we could be 12 points ahead of United on Sunday night.
I honestly don't see us losing 3 games more (4? if Sunday goes in our favour) than United in the run-in.
