Just a quick one. My dad, who has Alzheimer's, had £5 spurs to win 3-1 on Saturday.

He then has £5 yesterday on city to win 3-1.

Today....£5 on Arsenal to win....6-0.

WTAF!

Apparently Arse have now scored 31 goals in their last 7 league games. That is very impressive even if 6 came tonight.

They're playing incredible right now. I now they've had a good run of fixtures but us beating Burnley 5-2 is the closest we've seen from Spurs.

They are looking superb at the moment

But Liverpool and City continue to win...and they'll both get better IMO.

I'll be surprised if Arsenal finish above 3rd.

They’ve got a decent run in unfortunately, couple of games they might bottle against villa, Man U and us, the big one though is Citeh away and the way things are going I think whoever wins that the title is theirs to lose.

I think there's a fair chance (sadly) that they win it. They are rolling teams over for fun right now even if some of the opposition have been dire, Liverpool are admittedly grinding out wins but with the luck of the seven blind bastards. They aren't convincing right now and I have a weird feeling in my gooch (which isn't that kind of itch) that City, as awesome as they can be, are capable of dropping points out of the blue (moon). It wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if Arsenal went to City and won. One thing is for sure, it's going to be fucking close.

Roll on the disagrees :D

We need them to get a few injuries to some key players.

If one of Saliba/Rice/Saka/Odegaard gets injured for an extended amount of time then they'll drop off.

They're a different side then 12 months ago. They've learned something from how last year went. We can only hope Liverpool or City do their job.

Oh and if it starts to look like they really will win it, i'll post a survival help kit of things to do for those who let such things impact their actual lives :D

I think Arsenal have as good a chance as anyone else, which is scary in itself, but it's still so hard to call. The perception can change over the course of just 1 or 2 results.

If they just draw against Brentford next for example, all of a sudden you're questioning if they have what it takes.

I can imagine them overcoming every obstacle, but I can also imagine them stumbling along the way. Just hope it's the latter.

Time will tell whether they’ve actually learnt anything. They looked nailed on last season even into April and we all know how that ended.

I agree with A&C that Liverpool look unconvincing, especially with all their injuries. But they keep limping over the line in games perhaps due to Klopp “last season” plot armour being that extra motivating factor.

City just know how to win no matter what. Even for their defensive frailties this season, they just have so much talent in attack.

It will be a close race for sure. Fingers crossed the goons hit a speed bump sooner rather than later.

Much as I hate to admit it. This smacks of a club that has stuck by the manager and given him enough time to put together a team. Much as I fucking hate The twat. It’s paying off for them. We are at the start of this journey. And can easily get to their level. But we lack a few components at the moment. But the scum are looking ominously good at the moment.
The players know exactly what they are doing.

It is deeply ingrained in them so they know each others movements/patterns etc.

The only thing missing is approach I.e. aggressive, will to win, energy, concentration etc. If that is right then you become a consistently excellent team.

The last piece is dealing with pressure.

Let's hope that's the one that trips them up.

Actually Arsenal going top may be a good thing.

They aren't playing with too much pressure now. That's clear.

But they may start to feel some if they go top as last season will be very fresh in their minds.

Last season they bottled it cause they went 2 up in consecutive games and completely lost their nerve.

Before that they were flying and full of confidence but when it got serious "shit we can win it" they shit themselves.

Now they are chasing which suits them as there isn't expectation.

We will see. They may have learnt from it but it's the wins you get when it's crunch time that make you winners.
