City look well off it. Very leggy and lethargic, didn't even attempt to win the game. Arsenal were awful but still City created nothing. Pretty worrying in terms of Arsenal winning the league. Are seal aren't really much good at all but there are no other candidates, Liverpool's defence is far too shit and unrealistic to expect us to keep it up given we only have a first 11 and nothing else.

Arsenal lost their previous 12 to City

Yeah I mean every game is different and we're talking about different sets of players after all, but it doesn't change the fact that I wouldn't bet on Chelsea getting anything.

Yep. They’ll roll over like usual. Plus they are shit too of course.

I think so too. You can even say ours and their journeys to the top of the league have been quite different. Makes you kind of wonder how they're there as it's consisted of disappointing results and performances. Fulham draw at home, ugly win at Palace, poor in win at home to United, failed to beat us at home, poor today etc. I guess you could say that's positive that they're been poor and are where they are in the table but I personally don't see signs of them being a side that has pushed on and think it will increasingly/continue to catch them.

I actually don't mind them winning like that. If they had played well and lost I'd be more worried. Imo they've looked poor all season. They can be got at as we showed. Today was a match of cowards

While I hate the scum is still unbeatable like us, I think it's good they are so close behind smelling our fart. The lads under Ange will know there is still a long way ahead and today's result should curtail any complacency, not that I think there is much in this squad now.

It's going to be difficult as we'll get caught up with the excitement but going into the Arsenal game I just wanted us to play our own game and if we could do that it would be a win for me whatever the result and that was only two games ago.
Its important not to raise our expectations too far too soon just take it in our stride and enjoy the ride.
Still early days but it's fantastic fun ain't it.

City will be there once rodri and kdb are back. They always are despite always starting slow. It's literally the same conversation about them every season and then they go on a 20 match win streak

All that today has confirmed is that our two main rivals are shit and we’re definitely going to win the league.
I think Liverpool look like the best side in the league (excepting ourselves, of course!). Think Newcastle could also be a threat if they get a bit of momentum.

So in the three games Rodri has been suspended they’ve:
  • Knocked out of Lge cup
  • Lost against Wolves
  • Lost against Arsenal

The most annoying thing about that flukey last minute goal was that i had put an acca on 4 draws today and just couldn't see a goal at the end so waited it out.

a £1 bet was a few minutes from getting me £220. (n)
