A few on Twitter speculating it's because Gabriel is going Saudi, otherwise not playing him doesn't make sense.

There must have been a falling out of some sort. He played every game last season. Hope it ducking destroys them!

Benson is a lively little player. Not sure if he’s any good but probably nice for Burnley fans to watch.

Villa tearing Burnley apart…

Hope their defence is as open next week
They seem committed to playing this style. I don’t see Kompany being the type to park the bus to steal a result, especially this early in the season.

Poor penalty by Haaland. That said, two inches to the left and it would have been perfect. Fine margins.

If that's a penalty to City we should have had one that stopped Richy scoring. What is the handball law, because they keep changing it depending who is playing.

Hand in the air vs support arm on the ground. If anything it's been the most consistently applied part of the handball law in recent years.

Trailing arm on the ground in the process of sliding = OK. Trailing arm up around the head while sliding = Pen.

I think on the whole, that was a pen. Lol that he missed though.

Yesterday the guys hand wasn't supporting him it came down and hit the ball. His hand/arm were not stationary

You can just as easily translate it as hand above body = pen, hand below body = no pen. That's the way that rule has been practiced for years.

I know it's early but I'm starting to wonder if 30 points might keep you up this year.
Can see the league being split into 2.

The top 8 will be 50 points plus.

Maybe Palace and Brentford around the middle.

Bottom 8 all below 45 points with the relegation candidates less than 30.

Seems to be the impact of having a solid top half. In the past you could see a relegation candidate getting 3 points at home against the 8th best side on the right day, but not really anymore.
