These Everton fans are beyond. Players have got to have seriously thick skin to play in front of them. Booing McNeil for checking back on the halfway line ffs.

Commentator said 50% of Everton’s goals have come from set pieces. Wow.
imagine watching that utter shit every other week.
Great club, awful team.

He could see enough to decide it warranted a yellow.

Seems pretty clear from his delayed action that it was the assistant ref who told him. I think he had no foul himself (which based on the lack of reaction from the Brighton players with a similar angle isn't a huge surprise).

Two teams here who have absolutely struck gold that the three promoted teams are so poor this season. Any sort of half decent quality in those promoted clubs and both Everton and Palace could easily be going down.

If Everton didn't have the 10 points deducted, they would have a nice gap between them and bottom 3 also though.

Very true that mate, I’m working on the theory it sticks.

Though I’ve noticed a few in the media now keep saying “they may get some points back” seems to have been pretty common on MNF tonight, would be an interesting climb down from the premier league if true.

City huffing and puffing a bit against Brentford.

If you're not at it 100% any team makes it incredibly tough to play against when they drop and stay compact.

We just dropped a bit. City have too. Can click in an instant though

Watching this does make me think Liverpool may have the best chance to win the league.

Liverpool have been the most effective at either end of the pitch.

I would also say that they don't have to work as hard as City for their goals because of the way they play.

Most teams know City will build so immediately drop into a compact shape, whereas teams think they can get at Liverpool due them stretching pitch more so they open up.

City play a higher def line so if they aren't at their beat they are quite vulnerable to getting suckered
