Yet Son’s was clear and obvious? That needed the VAR to tell the ref to go watch the screen? A mockery.

Wolves fans will be delighted with their performance regardless.

Much like us, their football hasn’t been pretty to watch & just like Ange, O’Neil looks like changing that.

Michael Salsbury the VAR ref for this game, was dropped from VAR duties for 3 weeks in Apr 2023. PGMOL apologies then.He then did the error where we benefited against Brighton

Regardless, guy has made the blunder again

Total incompetency & corruption in the league is rampant

VAR wants to keep the decisions on the pitch.. But yesterday they had to interfere. Biased.

so according to Neville all you have to do is get close to the ball and it's not a foul 😂
Actually he's right. Keepers are allowed leeway when they come for the ball. If they are trying to get the ball.

What was different here was that Onana was never ever getting to that ball and knew it.

I was more surprised at Carragher saying he thought it had no chance of being overturned having not been given at the time.

Then you think back to Son’s yesterday and how his touch was much less significant and how that was overturned.

There's absolutely no way you can look at that clip and not give a pen without it being corruption. It's just incomprehensible.

There's just no way you can get that one wrong. It's one of the most blatant pens I've ever seen.

Arguably it was similar to the play when Vicario came out and made contact - but the ball was already gone, so no Pen given.

There should be some clarity on why pens are given or not.
