Brighton do realise they no longer have to play like an inconsistent mid table side don't they?

But literally 30s before the pen, Diaz flew in two footed on the keeper but “both were going for the ball”. If it wasn’t on the keeper it’s a red. Not even a foul given.

Crazy scoreline on the balance of play.

But that's the difference between a good side and a top side.

They need fewer chances to make it count.

This is where Brighton's 'pure' football ideology gets them into trouble. Having conceded once trying to overplay they should be looking to see out the last 5 minutes of the half without further mistake.

Always hate that from commentators

“Salah on his own has pulled this back for Liverpool”

No, he finished off a chance won and created by other players and then he put away a penalty also won by other players

No wonder they were outraged at the Jones red.

(Said in a high pitched squeal) But we always fookin' tackle like dat lad! Never been a problem before.

Honestly - all 3 goals have been about mistakes rather than good play from the attackers. Most teams in the PL would capitalize on those kind of mistakes.

Was still well worked when they capitalised on the first mistake.

And pressing from the front was still a contributor to the mistakes...a big part of the way Liverpool play.
