Tomorrow 5:15pm Leicester v Man. City. Couldn't care less about the Community Shield, but I will probably watch anyway.

Some of you might have seen this video before, but this Aussie guy is one of our new PL referees:

I really don't understand why we don't mic up refs like in this video. Just like with rugby.

I don't think I've watched a Community Shield match in over ten years. It's just another friendly to me.

I agree, but they will both put out a decent team and it's a nice opportunity to see some new players, for instance Soumaré at Leicester.

Haven't they trialed this before but stopped it due to the amount of sweating you could hear? I think that's right, but could be talking shit.

In like 1990 with peak Tony Adams screaming in the ref's face, yeah.

That's not a reason to not try again.

If they were mic’d up I’d imagine the players would be told in no uncertain terms that they’d be enforcing straight reds for swearing at the ref. I honestly think the reason they don’t do it is because the refs are just shite, it’d just shine another light on how bad they are.

Community Sheild on now. Patson Daka on the bench for Leicester, Grealish on the bench for City. Curious to see how Daka does if he comes on.

Still fully expect us to lose next week, but this is clearly a good time to play City. Leicester are causing them problems.

Still no sign of KBD, Stones, Laporte, Walker, Sterling etc, plus Bernardo wants out.

Pep might start one of two of them but we're bound to be be playing against somewhat of a weakened team and they always look vulnerable when Ake is in the back line.

Was thinking this, so many players missing now even compared to us, not to mention Foden and KDB are injured as well

This citeh team looks seriously short and will be again next week - honestly I would give us a good chance against this lineup

Dixon's such a fucking idiot. He hasn't seen one free kick scored under the wall since players started lying behind it... maybe there's a connection...?
