Buendia is going to be one of those Moneyball signings that a clever recruiting team, such as a Leicester or Wolves, will make a mint on in a few years. His metrics are so impressive, more so considering he’s playing for a team rooted at the bottom of the table.

Chances created are impressive but only 1 PL goal scored all season in tonight's game.

Norwich are the ones who made the moneyball signing at 1.5m and will make some money on him.

He might be an absolute twat but Willian would probably be great for us for a couple of seasons

He's kind of in the mould of some of our other attackers (pacy, good defensively, but can be frustrating in goalscoring and passing situations). I think he would be an upgrade on Lucas though

haha Wellbeck goal is funny - think it rolled off his shin onto his foot but still a great goal and finish

You don't want to be too hard on Norwich. Clearly confidence is at rock bottom and the squad ultimately just wasn't good enough for the PL, but they refuse to learn. This game once again they've held their own in terms of trying to play football, but that's another goal where they're getting caught with way too many having bombed forward, and then scrambling to get back and help their exposed defence. This happens every week and they've made no attempt to adapt.

And yet we barely managed to beat them once this season.

They're so frustrating to watch. Just when you think they're on to something good, they're pressing well and their passing moves are on point, then BAM someone makes a mistake and they concede.

I think Farke would do very well with a set of players who are actually able to do what he wants them to do, but he's so dogmatic.

After the first game or 2 for each team, the games have begun to look like PL fixtures. The quality is back. Except for our games as we still manage to make the games look like boring training exercises.

Abraham was surely close enough to offside to look at it at least....but no play on straightaway, Neville says bugger all about it!

Pulisic looks better and better every game. Seems to make the right decision quite often (unlike say Lamela who usually runs and runs with the ball until any opportunities are extinguished)
