This Liverpool team
Man City 17-18
Chelsea 04-05
Man United 98-99
Man United 07-08
Man United 08-09

All these teams was better than the Arsenal invincibles. I might even have forgotten someone

I just realised watching the highlights now that Norwich play goal music when they score.

That's a 20 point deduction for me, Clive. Out of order.

Chelsea 09/10 were very very good too. So were United that season and missed out by a point and GD on the league.

They’re clearly the best side but shows what can happen if you play well against them and they don’t get any luck or decisions to bail them out

Arsenal needs to shut up about the invincibles they act like they’re the only club in Europe who has done it

Dinamo Zagreb, PAOK, Juventus, Porto (twice), Celtic, Shakhtar, Dynamo Kiev (three times!) etc have all done it but you never hear them constantly talk about it

Preston were the first team to do it

Anyway, champions by 30 points and unbeaten means absolutely nothing more than champions on goal difference having accumulated 70 points. You still get the one trophy. The obsession with stats and records is a modern thing.
All that matters is who has the title.

Fantastic performance from Watford. They obviously have players that trouble this Liverpool side, they deserved more at Anfield earlier in the season.
Typical Carragher ain't on commentary, the day they get tonked.

He’s probably out spitting on children

They’d of been convinced Watford were going to lose though and probably Bournemouth too. So even though they won they were basically just keeping up with the other teams down there.

I can't say I am really bothered this week, I was supposed to be in Blighty watching this one in an old watering hole of mine with some old pals. Circumstances have altered things, ah well ..

Allisson is out for Liverpool. A hip injury.

There is also a match on Wednesday night. Man City vs Arsenal.

I won't be watching Burnley-Spurs. 3.30am kick off here. No thanks.
