Predictions for the above matches:
Sheff U-Liverpool, away win,
Villa-Burnley, home win,
Bournemouth-West Ham, away win*,
Chelsea-Brighton, home win,
Palace-Norwich, draw,
Spurs-Southampton, home win,
Wolves-Watford, draw,
Everton-Man City, away win

Leicester-Newcastle, Home win

Man U-Arsenal, Draw

*unsure on this. Depends which Bournemouth turn up.
Confident on Spurs because but for a VAR decision (and subsequent rage-quit), we'd have won last week, and generally played quite well until the odd substitution/refereeing decision. A reaction has to come and Southampton at home is when I've decided it will be.

Interesting read about Everton.

I had a hunch they might struggle with Gueye as someone like that is unsung and did a lot of running / tackling / work for the team.

And it’s often teams without someone like that who struggle having a soft underbelly (bit like us at the moment since Wanyama’s decline and Dier’s struggles recently with fitness and form!).

For some reason on the graph that shows shots faced sky sports have missed one goalie off. Guess who it is!?!?

Utterly bizarre.

Do Liverpool ever get a hard fixture?

They must have had the easiest start to a season I can remember.

Also in their favoured Saturday lunchtime slot to give them the drop on rivals and some extra rest before their CL fixture.

VAR once again in focus. It's always funny when it happens to the Scousers but how does Lundstram not give away a pen there? Studs on Mane's foot, doesn't touch the ball.
