A ruddy bloody shame about Arses come back but they still showed enough comedy value. MUnited and Chelsea dropping points to. Not bad.

People are already jumping to conclusions about the Top 4. The only thing set in stone is that the obvious two are the top two.

So, so much football to play ahead for everyone, so many temporary and/or fundamental problems with MUnited, Arse, Chelsea.... We have our issues too for sure but I do think we have on paper at least enough quality and experience to get Top 4 and go deep in the cups this season.

Which, really, is what Enic/Levy want.

He’s a very good player but I’m not sure he’s the be all and end all for us. I believe there’s plenty of his level in the game, all attainable for us. In fact I think we could actually attract better.

I agree though, we should have been all over him and Brooks before they moved to the prem.

Flavour of the month, always happens with form players. Not long ago there was few people clamouring for Barkley and Shane Long was out saviour for a few years let's not forget.

They've really fucked up with the implementation of VAR in the PL.
Right now we're getting goals chalked off because of imaginary lines being chosen by a human, and blatant handballs ignored because they don't want to undermine the refs.
Exactly what the fuck is the point of it again?

Hopefully after this season they get their heads together and work out a better way to implement it. It’s certainly not how I envisaged it years ago when the idea of officials being given access to monitors/video technology was first mooted.

Arsenal are getting the rub of the green at the moment. But you'd have to think their defensive frailty will undermine them sooner than later. Having said that, we're obviously not a tight ship either, and below the bottom two is a bit of an enjoyable mess (to a point).

No excuses for us in the next three league matches. Nine points is a must and we need to build momentum or this season will fall off a cliff.
