I'd like to see...

Lloris
Tanganga Rodon Romero Reggie
PEH Lo Celso
Dele
Moura Scarlett Son

But I think that might be a longshot for a lot of reasons.

I imagine it will be very close to the rather uninspiring team we started against the goons.

I think it'll be the same as vs Arse, Japhet injury notwithstanding. Obviously we all want to see Romero but I would be amazed if he starts. I'd like to see Dele further up in place of Bergwijn but he's been given this new role by Nuno as a B2B on the left of a 3 in CM and has done alright so far so it'd be daft to suddenly put him elsewhere.

Playing with one set of players all preseason to then tear it all up and start with players in different positions and roles in the first game of the season would be a rookie mistake regardless of the opposition.

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Reguillon
Lo Celso Hojbjerg Dele
Moura Kane Son

If Kane is available then I think Kane at 80% is better than Bergwijn. Son moves out the wing. Lo Celso over Skipp as we need some more composure on the ball. Our midfield was second best to Arsenal the other day until Lo Celso came on. We were better than them in every other area though

that’s what I’d like to see. I haven’t heard Romero is injured, but someone said he is, so he may not play. I can’t see Dier, Dele or Moura missing out on a start unless they pick up a knock. Kane to start cos he thinks he’s the man, well, prove it, big bollocks.

I will add this isnt what I want to see but more how I expect us to lineup given who has played in pre-season.

I think we'll start with players who started or performed well against Arsenal.

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Reguilon
Højbjerg Skipp Lo Celso
Moura Son Bergwijn

If Tanganga is out, perhaps Doherty will start.

This will absolutely not be Nuno's preferred starting 11 by Christmas, but I think he'll start with the most settled lineup and formation currently available to him. If Kane is still with us (both alive and a Spurs player), he'll come on for Bergwijn in the second half.

Given the state of the squad don’t see too many decisions for Nuno.

RB - Tanganga did enough versus Arsenal to secure spot
CBs - Dier has one spot, if Romero isn’t ready then straight race between Sanchez and Rodon. Sanchez performance against Arsenal tips it his way.
CM - need the work rates of Holberg and Skipp, that leaves one spot and favour Lo Celso over Dele, City will dominate possession and we need to make the most of what little we get Which means no room for Dele.
CF - Son to continue even if Kane available, Kane on bench if available.

It would be absolutely ridiculous to include Kane on Sunday.

I think it will be the team that started against Gooners.

I doubt we will see much of our new players in the PL in August. Some will play in the ECL qualifying games. But with nearly all newcomers are arriving very late in the TW, it is hard to see any being physically prepared to contribute this month against City, Wolves, Palace. I fully expect to see something along the lines of this for all of those games:

Lloris

Japhet
Dav
Dier
Reg

Skipp
PEH
Dele/Lo Celso

Stevie B
Sonny
Lucas

Primary subs: Gil, Dane/Kane, Davies, Winks, Rodon, Doherty, Romero, Ndombele, Gollini
(assuming Sess is still working on fitness)

That has more or less been the starting XI Nuno has been utilizing over the last couple of weeks. Very much doubt we will see Kane start (if he stays), either of our first two games. Outside chance he is ready for the third.
