Everton heading to Aus for a 2nd pre season tour during the WC. Anyone have an idea if we’ll do something similar?

Would think we’d have too many players involved at the World Cup to bother. Most likely some local friendlies. Everton on the other hand could have an entire available squad that needs action.

Honestly it will be really nice for them to get basically a full preseason with whoever their new manager is in November

Yeah my guess is from our 25 man PL squad we will only have 4 or 5 outfield players not at WC.

Romero actually isn’t that tall I think he’s just over 6ft, and Gil is probably bit taller than people think he’s just very skinny.

Someone remind me please, do the team fly out on Saturday, Sunday or Monday? I feel like I read Sunday somewhere but can’t remember.

When do they report back for pre-season training? The plan is for those players who haven’t been involved in internationals since the season finished to return around Monday, July 4. For those on international duty, they will return in time to fly with the team to South Korea on Saturday, July 9.

Pre-season fixtures:
  • Wednesday, July 13: Team K League, Seoul World Cup Stadium, South Korea ( Coupang Play Series )
  • Saturday, July 16: Sevilla, Suwon World Cup Stadium, South Korea ( Coupang Play Series )
  • Saturday, July 23: Rangers, Ibrox
  • Saturday, July 30: Roma, Sammy Ofer Stadium, Haifa, Israel ( I-Tech Cup )
All games will be available on SpursPlay - https://play.tottenhamhotspur.com/
I wonder how much fitness will take place in Korea, looks like Lenglet will miss that tour and team bonding but if he and 2-3 other key signings are sorted before Rangers game and travel to that and Roma game they’ll still get some good team bonding and fitness.

Also Wonder if any more signings then next couple of days could be flown out to Korea to meet up with the group as an option

I’m English but lived in Glasgow previously and currently live in Edinburgh, and as long as you don’t act a prick in the home end, you’ll be absolutely fine.

You might have to avoid wearing Spurs colours, and the area surrounding Ibrox is pretty rough. Glaswegians in general however are some of the friendliest people I have met.

I went to Ibrox for the first time during preseason last year, and although I was in the Rangers end and they were playing Brighton, no one else said a word to me despite my accent.

I’m also not sure on general sale. One of my Rangers supporting mates thinks it will go to general sale, but he’s organising for about 7 of us to get home end tickets anyway. I’ll be whispering myself on the day as well!

Rangers website have theirs going on general sale on the 18th of July, if there are still ones left to sell.

The squad fly out to Korea on Saturday evening.

Joe Rodon (illness) has missed out, while Clement Lenglet’s recent arrival means he is without the necessary documentation to travel to Korea.

Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks will continue their pre-season preparations at Hotspur Way. Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett have further time off following their international commitments and recent success in the UEFA European Undet-19 Championship.

No surprises on the ones being left home but glad to see Parrott, Gil and Sarr are given a go.

@Bluto Blutarsky where has it been confirmed?

Edit, just had the notification

Good to see Gil, Sarr, Parrott and White and a couple of other youngsters getting their chance.

Thought Etete might have gone as well.
