Yeah but hed give the likes of costa a bit of grief. Works hard and is young but i see your point. Just putting it out there.

I don't disagree, there's definitely a player in there - sure we were linked with him prior to his move.

I'm just not sure he would be a good fit?

Should we not have bought Trippier?
Should Utd not have bought Keane?

Now we are are in the CL should we not be looking at lower leagues and forget finding another Dele Alli?

We should be looking at available individuals that fit our needs regardless of who they play for.
That's twisting my words to such an obscene degree you should go and feel ashamed about your self.

We are being linked with Thauvin of Newcastle, not seen him play, any good?

He's a talented lad, but I really don't see him being suitable for us. Looked a rabbit in the headlights for Newcastle in the PL.

Apparently Biesla really recommended him to Poch after working with him at Marseille.

I'd rather nail my nuts to a door than see Jack Grealish at Spurs.
He's an abomination of Wilshere proportions.
I'd like to pour kettle after kettle full of boiling water on them both.
Does that make me sound mental?

Showed signs a while ago but for the most part has been dogshite.

[edit] scrap that, was thinking of Perez. Thauvin had his moments from what I can remember, before they loaned him, but was very inconsistent. Not what we need. We need proper quality.

Not a bad recomendation if true! Wonder if he'd settle better with a proper coach, rather than Schteve or Rafa?

If Vorm want first team football, then I wouldn't mind Rob Elliot as new back up keeper.
Id stay well clear off Grealish, the youngster that impress the most at Villa is Andre Green.
The type of player they'd be least willing to let go as he's on low wages though.

Maybe Poch and the scouting team can find some gems that suit us, but there's not much quality in them sides.

Watched the Norwich game, and not for the first time this season, I was impressed with Redmond. He's not afraid to take players on, is pretty quick, can shoot with both feet and is an above-average passer of the ball. It's clear that his work rate isn't up to Poch's standards... but if the mentality is there to commit to learn, then he could be a very good addition to the squad. In particular against the Foxes of this world who love to sit deep and soak up pressure. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how good you are at that, if the other team has a two or three players who are capable and unafraid of taking defenders on. The likes of Redmond could have the potential to be helpful late in those games. I could make a similar case for Sissoko too... who I think is a very good player, buried in mountain of crap that is Newcastle United.

I like Ayoze Perez but the days of opportunist savaging of relegated clubs should be over.

none.

this season we have been using our A squad for the league and b squad for europa, we no longer have that luxury now if we want to win both the league and CL

if we are going to play our current A squad for CL, then a rotated squad for league we will get eaten alive next season.

from now we should only buy quality players so we play an A+ squad for CL, and current A squad for the league at the very least.

none of the players from these teams have that A+ quality

not that we need him but jordan amavi is a big talent, could potentially take over from evra for the french national team if he recovers from his injury.
just looked at a GIF of the incident that led to his knee injury, jesus man that looked horrible

I definitely don't think he's a better player than Chadli. His goal scoring record is pretty poor, and he tends to go missing more often than not.

Id take a punt on it, hes still young and when hes on it he is very exciting going forward and has pace. Dont think chadli is going to kick on, very frustrating player and i think hes reached his ceiling. Redmond hasnt IMO

The Transfer Rumours and ITK sections of Spurs Community will be open shortly and consistent with previous years we don't have transfer related threads in Spurs Chat when that happens.
