Although I wobble a bit (like on Saturday ~2pm for example) from time to time, I haven't changed my mind that he should stay. He does need to learn from his mistakes but I see no long term upside to him leaving, other than getting a new flavour of the month in as we have done a few times before, and those didn't go so well.

I went from in after the Bayern game to out after the Brighton debacle.

I'm still standing by that. However I understand why those want to stay loyal.

My reasoning is that I cannot see him coming back from this. Like I said earlier; to which nobody has responded.

Name a manager that has recovered from this type of crisis and more importantly 'form'. I'm struggling and that's why I think we are just delaying the inevitable.

Moyes finished 17th one season with Everton and got a Euro spot the following season IIRC?

It is a very difficult set of circumstances for levy to decide what to do does he stick with a manager who to date has bought into his philosophy, or sack him because of the obvious drop in playing standards not only the 7/8 games this season but the poor away form and general lethargic play that has crept in.
I can see that a lot of the fan's are very emotional about poch where as my vested interest is the club that's my attachment I will support the club regardless of who is in charge.

I now definitely want him out.

Not because of results, but because he's sucking Qatari dick for money.

If it affects our results on the pitch then it's a problem, that said I don't see how this has anything to do with his managerial ability and our current standing.

Eh it has nothing to do with managerial ability. Is that the only criterion?

I'd really like him to turn it around and stop the rot. However, how much of the rot was created by Poch himself? ITK's have alluded as much.

If he's trying to put out fires whilst simultaneously setting alight his own legs, it's only going to end one way, sadly.

Whats's the problem then?

Prostrating yourself to the Qatari state for money when you earn £9m a year is disgraceful. Qatar is responsible for the murders of 1000s of workers. Giving a fluff keynote speech on Qatar and its authorities is not what I expect our coach to be doing.

Will be interesting to see what the tipping point is for those who are diehard Poch fans. If we lose against Watford and inevitably Liverpool will that be enough to do it. Or should he be backed as long as he wants.

As @nedley said above I just cannot remember any manager in this situation ever surviving and going on to turn it all around. If Poch does then he really is magic.

Ultimately, the question should always be “is the manager getting the best out of the squad available”? If the answer is no, follow up with “will he be able to get the best out of the squad available”? If the answer is still no, he goes. If it is yes, we ask when he’ll achieve this.

I don’t envy Levy on this, he will be equally damned if he does or doesn’t.

So that's the reason he needs to go then is it, okay then...

Very valid and difficult question.

I'm a Poch fan but, I appreciate what we're seeing is pretty dire and it's hard to see where a positive resolution becomes likely.

I think we need to look at the next 6 rather than the next 2 (i know i could keep saying that as the games roll by!). Liverpool, given their form vs. ours, is a likely loser. No point making that the game which we base this judgement call on in my view.

The other games - Watford, Crvena Zvezda x 2, Everton and Sheff Utd. Whichever way you look at it are must-win games. For Spurs and for Poch. We need to see how those games play out, all teams will sense blood but anything less than wins and positive team performances would very likely signal the end for Poch barring a few exceptional circumstances.

I'd caveat all the above by saying that unless a decent change is available, then i sincerely don't see the point.
