I feel bad for him, it’s a red but wasn’t a dirty red. Have seen challenges far worse than that. He was actually decent before that. I am not prepared to bin him yet

Just mentions 2 reds carries an extra 1 game ban. Since its for violent conduct is 3 + 1. Whatever it is AFCON means he's out anyway until Feb. The 4th game suspended is actually irrelevant because he is off anyway.

Shouldn't receive wages until he is back in Feb then

Damn, I wish my boss was as generous as the people who disagree with what I said. Wish I could act like an idiot, get suspended with full pay for a month and then paid to fuck off to play footie with some mates for another month too.

Bissouma takes early vacation...

4 games suspended...And then right away, goes to AFCON.

So, we will probably see him again in Spurs shirt sometime in Feb, depending on how deep Mali go.
In the meantime Bentacur returns and he loses his place..

He then only had himself to blame

He'll be a decent backup to Maddison, Bentancur and Sarr when he finally returns.

I’m honestly not sure we see him in the starting 11 again this season. By the time he is back we should have Maddison and Bentancur and Skipp could easily play himself into enough form to hold the fort for a few games until Sarr returns as AFCON winner 🥇 we’ve also been linked to Conor Gallagher

I think he is being targeted successfully by oppo teams, they know what way he likes to turn now. This in turn makes him take poor touches trying to be unpredictable.

Could be some truth in that. If it’s the case, then he’ll need to develop his game.

It wasn’t malicious, yes his foot was high, but he didn’t attempt to injure the player. Could have been a yellow and a stern talking too. But no complaints with it being a red

But the fact he gets a 4 match ban just seems disproportional. I think a 3 match ban for straight red is ridiculous unless it’s violence.

Pontification overload!!! Bissouma is in a rut without a doubt, but surely this is the moment he needs our support not harsh judgement?

Especially when Matty Cash is going around doing players deliberately every week.

He started the season so well, but since that red card against Luton, his form has dipped, and he sometimes seems so lazy on the ball. Not sure what has happened, but he clearly is in a rut.

Deserved that red card today, and it could have easily cost us points today; no doubt it will cost us points in the next few games due to his absence.

Get. Rid.

Absolutely no discipline. The card only happened because of his awful first touch there.

Ange's face said it all. As did nobody going over to him aside from Royal, who is just a nice bloke.

And this is a huge f'n problem. Because 5 weeks of good form is nowhere near enough. He should be breathing fire to prove himself after the failure that was last season after his big move. He's totally dead on the ball.

His fault for being sent off already, and being shown 6 yellows this season. I'm surprised people aren't expecting more from a senior player (who is about to take a month off for his country) during an injury crisis.
