It’s basically a third of what we paid for him. That’s arguably appalling considering he’s still relatively young.

It's not great, no. And, it's obvious this was a terrible purchase for us, but, I'm of the mind that getting anything for him is a success. 6.5m is nothing to sneeze at. Could *possibly* turn Janssen and Nkoudou into Jack Clarke. I'm all for that.

Fair points. I just mean it’s pretty shocking that his stock has fallen so much when, on paper, there are still stats and expectations falling in his favour.

I also still firmly don’t believe that he's actually leaving. We’ve been here before. Maybe the scouts and management in Mexico haven’t gotten around to actually watching footage of him yet.

At the end of the day it frees up a non HG spot, takes him off wage bill and it's is a small amount to reinvest.

I do wish the guy all the best and hope he resurrects his career, but for both us and when on loan it hasn't worked out and he hasn't shown he will take us to the next level.

Didnt we get a £5m loan fee from turkish club he joined? Adding that to the £6.5m and its not as bad how much we’ve got back considering how little he has played

Quite impressed we managed to shift him. Was thinking another loan was going to be on the cards. The rumoured fee is fine in the circumstances

Adebayor Soldado Janssen Llorente

Thank eff for Harry.
Adebayor was in a completely different class to the other 3 and actually scored goals for us - 17 in the league in his first season is pretty bloody good.

However, unlike the other 3, he was also a massive bellend and completely unprofessional so perhaps he deserves it. I'll never forgive him for laughing when he missed that penalty in the Europa League.

Good luck to the lad. Never showed a bad attitude in public, and seemed like a likeable fellow. Maybe came to the prem too soon.
