Sonny has spells of being World Class but has far too many other spells when he’s no such thing

Nowhere near consistent enough to be thought of as World Class. That term is used far too often
I'd love for anyone to show me the list of 5 better & more consistent wingers than Sonny.

136 goals & 56 assists in all competitions?

They are impressive numbers bar his first season and this season so far!

He’s very good…

Transfermarkt
I'm not 100% sure but I believe Transfermarkt includes penalties drawn as assists, if the penalty is scored. That may throw the numbers off somewhat but it's nevertheless an impressive track record.

We need to talk about Sonny.
Actually though he was fine tbh. One or two signature bursts of pace and got his shots off on the edge of the area. The playmaking wasn’t there, and the near post corners didn’t come off, but touch and link play was fine. Yes he needs to score goals, but besides that I’ve seen much much worse from him in general play.

Like a superhero that has lost his powers . Never feel he is a threat anymore , even if he’s one on one with the full back I don’t back him to get past him . Sad to see

The ball stuck a bit better at his feet today than previous in the season but the way he runs into blind alleys constantly, ignoring players in better positions, missing simple passes, and mishitting all his shots is a cause of concern IMO.
He just looks way off it to me and currently, by passing the ball to him we lose possession way more often than we should.

To me the presence of Perisic totally cut off the space he thrives in. He can't be playing centrally behind Kane as well. He wasn't even this bad when we played him as the lone striker up top.

I think Son is just trying to do too much. He's stopped doing basic things well and he's often going for big plays when he shouldn't.
