The average recovery time is around 6-8 weeks so hopefully there are no set backs and he can get back closer to the former.

Would mean he is back in time for early April.

Big blow but it could be to our advantage in that we’ll either play another central midfielder or play Alli up top, giving us balance.

Lo Celso Winks Ndombele
Bergwijn Alli Moura

The only real concerns are fatigue and the need for the likes of Ndombele and Sessegnon to both stay fit and grow a pair.

I get that Parrott might not be ready to start and lead the line. but surely he has to be an option from the bench now.
I just had a look at his Wiki to check how many games he had played and was surprised at how much professional football he has played for such a young player on loans.

Then realised I had searched Dean Parrott.

Lol who woulda thunk starting the season with only Kane as an experience out and out centre forward would be a bad thing eh...

Levy and Poch have a lot to answer for in relation to our player recruitment...

Absolutely ridiculous situation to be in, although I guess as Moura has tended to be the central one it means Bergwijn can continue on left side (thank god we actually got him!) and we just need someone for right side now, Lamela would be best bet if he could actually stay fit or maybe Dele will either be pushed wide right or as a false 9.

Imagine if Moura gets injured now, talk about an unbalanced squad...
That's a lot of injuries you talk about.

The squads fairly balanced we have coped without Kane Lloris and others as we've done many times before. Son being out will again force the squad to step up once more Sessengnon maybe Moura Bergwijn Alli Lamela.

This is kinda crazy that both Kane and Son are out to such long term injuries. Can you imagine if we hadn’t signed Bergwijn? I don’t really know how we are going to score enough goals. Son (as was Kane) was so good he opened space for others not as good simply by taking up markers.

Lamela is never fit.

Regardless of if son is out for a short or long period a club that has just reached a CL final and has been a regular competitor within the competition and top four battles should not be in the situation that we find ourselves.
If this season isn’t the catalyst for having more squad depth (particularly upfront), then we’re bolloxed; if we make top 4, it’ll be a miracle of biblical proportions.

Yeah he has a very poor fitness record but he could be ready this time around...Mourinho might be snookered into giving Parrott a chance off the bench.

One door closes another one opens hopefully in our favour

Maybe this is the time to roll out the 4-6-0 formation

You are aware he is actually injured at the moment.

Jose definitely likes to over exaggerate. I’d be shocked if Son isn’t back for start of April. There just no way if he seriously broke his arm he could play 90 minutes of football have contact, break falls and goal celebrations, just impossible.

I'm just waiting for him to be hit with a ban for his coronavirus joke the other day.

After the shit start we had I never expected top four this year although Jose has done well to draw us closer, with this happening any slim chance we had has pretty much fucked it.
