Lo Celso literally commited suicide with his tackle late on but won’t be given shit like Aurier.
If he 'literally committed suicide' he'd be dead.

The big difference though is that Lo Celso and many others wouldn't repeatedly try challenges like that inside the penalty area, Aurier seems to make absolutely no distinction whatsoever where he makes these types of challenges, and either doesn't understand or care or learns that you simply can't get away with it in the penalty area.Lo Celso literally commited suicide with his tackle late on but won’t be given shit like Aurier.

I'm not a huge fan of him and it was definitely a pen (and unnecessary) but I thought he actually did quite a lot of good stuff also yesterday.
It's a bit of a concern that I go into a game expecting him to give away a pen against the better teams but even with that yesterday was one of his better games - as worrying as that is!
Aurier didn't touch the ball, although the contact on Aguero was minimal.Aurier made good contact on the ball
You are the first person I spoke to that did not see Aurier clearing the ball. Its why Mike Dean waved play on initially before VAR, because the direction of the ball indicated Aurier got the ball. Many people don't think it's a penalty because Aurier made good contact with the ball while the leg of city's striker made contact with him.Aurier didn't touch the ball, although the contact on Aguero was minimal.
I was more irritated by Aguero staying on the floor for such a long time following the incident. Perhaps that swung VAR in his favour.

Aurier didn't touch the ball. It looked like it at first but the replay shows Aguero touched the ball and Aurier kicked him. It was a penalty and a stupid decision which we were lucky didn't cost us. Unfortunately he has this in his game and at his age it will happen every few games. If Mourinho wants to play the counter attacking game we are at the minute he will eventually need a defence that isn't error prone. Aurier will have to be replaced eventually but probably not straight away. You are the first person I spoke to that did not see Aurier clearing the ball. The second he did it Carragher (An experienced defender) said that was rash and stupid and was a penalty. I'll trust someone that has played the game over your opinion. Mourinho's face said it all.Making out Aurier's tackle for the penalty as rash or brain fart shows you are either blinded by your hatred or you are plainly stupid. The contact was so minimal that only repeated viewing on VAR spotted it. He was aggressive and denied space for the opponent to turn, saw the chance to clear and did. May not be the best option but being rash? Have some self respect.
It was needless and a little rash, but I don't want to go in too hard on Aurier because I thought he had a really good game overall. The second he did it Carragher (An experienced defender) said that was rash and stupid and was a penalty. Agree with you there. Carragher does think he's a liability and history would suggest he is right. Aurier has definitely been better under Mourinho but he remains a liability in our penalty box. I should imagine the coaching staff put a lot of time into him in training to try and improve his decision making. Until then you can tell they push him on as much as they can to avoid having him near the penalty box or last man situations.I think it was there to be won, but also no need to make the challenge in the box when Aguero is heading away from goal, but to be fair Carragher was gagging for Aurier to make a mistake all game. All he had said up to that point was about how he has a clanger in him, gets caught out of position etc., when I think Aurier has been pretty consistent under Mourinho and has had less mistakes than usual.
Better add me to your list. Aurier clearly did not touch the ball. You are the first person I spoke to that did not see Aurier clearing the ball.
