Yeah, we do seem pretty good at that, doing things like letting ex players train with us when they're without contracts and stuff, like Rose and Townsend recently.

I'm still hoping to see super Jan back at the club soon, in some capacity or another.

another 6 months plus recovery. At least he’s taken the decision swiftly this time, knowing how his other leg has reacted to it. He’ll definitely be with us until January then hopefully can get a good loan somewhere and get going again.

If so he'll have gone near well two years pretty much without football when he's back. Devastating for him and I'll be honest I wonder if he has a future in the game at all. His body doesn't seem to be able to manage it.

Two years since Sess's perhaps best game for us and we've barely seen him since. A travesty

So all going well he'll recover by end of May then have a full preseason to get himself back to match fitness.

Well that's good news in that he can have a proper pre-season and hopefully see the back of all of this shit, the poor sod. 1000% get himself to an alright Championship side and prove himself there as a few have done now.

Will continue to root for him and hopefully the club is taking a holistic approach when it comes to his recovery. That post by him really says it all, it just has to be so disheartening for him.

After racist abuse in Germany he went on to play great, fearless and was voted player of month for Hoffenheim and it wasn't just as support after the abuse, he had a nice goal and assist. Really thought he would make it then.

Predictably injuries followed his great form and then it was pretty much the same as always, more timid approach and inconsistent performance. Hope he somehow manages to stay healthy and settles somewhere eventually. Maybe becomes but of a late bloomer like some other injury prone players before.

that's just woeful. clearly can't be just luck, he must be doing something wrong. either not warming up properly, or stretching regularly or something. no way that's random.
