Let’s see how he gets on. The fact ange picked sess over a fit Reggie who’s been playing well for united will hopefully give him abit of confidence

I'm intrigued by the Vicario - Sess discussion at the end. if it was over the corner, I have to side with Sess on this one. he carries the first runner to the first post as he is the closest defender to that side. if it turns out that the corner is directed towards that first attacker and he doesn't contest it, we would be all over him. if anything, this seems like a structural problem in which we have 6 elements zoning the 6 yard box and concede a free header in the first post area due to how soft we play. then there is Scarlett, caught ball watching, vacating his duty on the second post once he sees the ball directed into the first. inexperience, lack of concentration but could have been costly. also not sure he should be the one playing that role in a defensive set piece. much rather have him contest him in the air other than having him on what is a discipline role on the backside of the play.

Bit longer, but to me Bentancur has looked also bit slow and sluggish compared to past despite ok performances. Which is perfectly understandable, just a note
Maybe Bentancur wasn’t as dominant in his Bournemouth appearance but, for someone who’d only played 60 minutes since returning from injury, I thought he looked good yesterday. Some of his one-touch passes around the corner were superb.

I fucking love that and it explains why we defend well at set pieces. Even if you're too small you have to jump.and put pressure on the opponent. We've done this well but Sess is just back and needs to learn.

As for Sess it's great to see him back. He needs a number of appearances before we can judge in this team. I'm sure he will play left back but came on as forward to ease back in. I would consider keeping Reguilon though of Davies is out for a while. It will be a while before Sess is ready and if he pulls up again we will be left short on the left.

He must be close to retirement, poor lad his mental health must be shot
Yeah quite, must be horrible for him. Not like you want to get injured as a footballer. Hopefully he gets a loan away this window and can find some form before a summer sale.

Think there was a sighitng of him out on the training pitch

However I still stand by my thoughts he will never play for spurs again

Yes I saw the training clip with him in the gym so he's clearly in and around the squad. Might sound harsh but I really hope we can move him on this Summer, not someone I see as having any sort of future with us. I don't rate him as a player and the injuries on top of that makes it a very easy decision for me. Just don't know who would take a punt on him.
