Not fussed if he stays or goes tbh his not had a good season, but we could loose Kane, would Richie get us 15-20 league goals?

Not sure, but I could easily see Son and Kane being sold.
Yeah i sort of agree, I love his passion and i'm happy with keeping him but I wouldn't be that fussed if he left ether.

However I very much doubt any decision on his future would happen before we have a new manager in place unless someone came in with a significant offer and I doubt that will be the case. I mean really, if you were looking for a striker I doubt you would go for him considering Levy would want to recoup most of what we spent and after the season he has had I dont think anyone would be paying that amount.

I’m reading noise about Richy being sold in the summer 🤷🏻‍♂️
Think it is exactly that mate just noise.

We need the attacking depth and under the right manager and system with a run of games he will fly but if the new manager doesn't want him and we can recoup a good say £50mil on him to give to the new manager to sign 1-2 players who fit with his plans then I'd also be fine with that but can't see us selling him tbh.

Would not want him gone. We will regret it. Really like what he offers on the pitch. His luck will change next season

He is not and as far as I am aware he is have never been a natural striker. Therefore he is no replacement for Kane. He simply doesn't score enough goals.

Just seeing comments about his goal at Liverpool. People do know the time stops when a goal is scored don't they? It makes no difference how long the celebration goes on. We still had the same time remaining if we want to go for a winner.

True but its a mentality issue. I'd always want my team to get on with it if they are not winning unless a draw is needed

If we get offered the money we paid for him, I think we should take it. I just don't see him scoring regularly, especially with our creativity issues.

Would need so many attacking players though.
We’d have 3 forwards, Moura is leaving, if richie leaves and Gil leaves (as he should) would give us decent cash to sign 2-3 forwards, say Barnes, danjuma on a perm?

Only at the last World Cup, otherwise it’s 30 seconds added per goal or substitution window. I also think taking the ball to the centre circle when you’ve pulled back a three goal lead gives you a psychological advantage as it shows you believe the momentum is with you. It gave Liverpool a moment to regroup.

Personal view but we should sell him while his value is high. Really push the fact that he was Brazils main starting striker at the WC scoring glorious overhead goals and don't show them any of his actual style of play. Barca love a Brazilian striker and need a back-up / successor to 34yr old Lewandowski so they'll probably sell off more TV rights money to buy him off us

I've been amazed watching him this year that he appears more interested in winding up defenders than actually creating chances or scoring goals. I don't know if it's a tactical thing but it's so infuriating to watch as he generally ignores the ball and jumps into defenders trying to get a free kick. This wouldn't be too bad if we had a Ward-Prowse style free-kick specialist but we don't.

I know there are some who love him and point towards his pressing out of possession but he's been a huge let down in my eyes. 11 starts in the league alongside 13 substitute appearances and just one solitary goal (and he's had many many clear cut chances wasted).

He works hard and is a good player. But I'm not sure those wanting to keep him wouldn't be more tempted to sell if we were offered our money back and we told we had a limited budget for the summer, which we probably do. I understand why most would want to give him another season, but to do so, it means that whoever the next director of football and coach pair are, can't do any better with £60 million than Richy, which pretty much means we should give up now. We could sign Maddison for less than that.

When you look at the money that is going to be need to be spent on a GK, a CB and realisitically (given how long it takes to come back from and ACL, even once you are fit to play) a CM. I don't think we are in a position to turn down an opportunity to get our money back on Richy. If we can sign a top class attacking player without selling him then great, as I think he adds quality to our squad. But when I hear Levy talking about the current state of finances in football and then look at our recent financial losses, I'm not sure we can afford all the players we need, without raising funds from selling one or 2 that have decent value.

I guess the key is Bentancur and I just can't see how we can go into next season, hoping that he'll come back in November and return to form. Yes lot's of players make full recoveries from ACL's thesedays, but it usually takes close to a year to get back properly, as a opposed to the 9 months usually speculated for their return. I'd write next season off for him and I don't fancy any combination of our other options. I think we need a passer, which means splashing out on someone like Neves. That's a big financial hit for the club. A GK, like Raya or Pickford aren't going to be cheap. A top class CB is going to cost alot. No one ever wants to pay us for the players we want to get rid of and I doubt it will be any different this summer. So if we need to raise money, I can't think of many better options than selling Richy or not completing the Kulu deal.

If you take 10 secs to restart it's still 30 seconds added so doesn't buy any time to get straight on with it.
I think you have to consider the circumstances. We were 3-0 down at a ground we haven't won in for years, coming off our last away trip where we got hammered 6-1 and hadn't won our last 3 games. We got an unlikely equalizer, I think it would be careless to rush on with the game and go for a 4th in that situation.

He was our record signing less than a season ago. With 4 more years left on his contract, and entering his prime years as Brazil's number 9, it would take a pretty hefty bid to persuade Spurs to sell.

Completely agree, difference between a winner and small time mentality. Winners go for the kill rather than basking in the elation of a dramatic equaliser. That probably set us up to accept a draw mentally.

I agree with this. Assuming we keep Harry, that is

I think Richi is a reasonable player, and I like his effort, but I think we over paid for him, and if we could get our money back then I think we'd need to take a hard view and look to cash in. Surely there are interesting young strikes who could perform what he does?
