it's tricky isn't it- 5 first team level forwards feels like 1 too many, but 4 feels like 1 too fewShame to lose him for a month, but provided we have Kane, Son and Kulu fit we should be fine for the first few weeks back.
Surely he’d need to lay an egg for that. Now imagining Rich horrifically giving birth to a giant pigeon.
Good god. He's been an adequate player at times and a very special player in a handful of matches in a Spurs shirt over the years, but he's certainly not a really good alternative 5th choice forward.Unfortunately this is further exacerbated by Lucas injury issues this season. We've all been frustrated at times with Lucas as a starter, but he could be a really good alternative as a 5th choice in the forward line. He didn't play against Motherwell which would suggest to me that he is still not over his tendon problems.
Then we've got Gil, but Conte is clearly reluctant to play him in the league, with one sub appearance of 6 minutes against Bournemouth.
Perisic can clearly do a job further forward as he does for Croatia but will have played the maximum level of games at the World Cup and when he returns he might be needed at LWB, given Sessegnon is also recovering from an injury.
3-4 weeks target
And don’t forget wee Bryan! ?Shame to lose him for a month, but provided we have Kane, Son and Kulu fit we should be fine for the first few weeks back.
Well in a perfect world I'd love a player of higher quality as a 5th/6th choice but we are not really Chelsea who can stockpile players like Ziyech and Pulisic. Bergwjin would have been a better choice then Lucas but he desperately wanted to leave as he feels his qualities are better than a bench spot at Spurs.Good god. Bit OT, but how come Chelsea can stockpile players ? They got a new sugar daddy that I missed arriving ?Well in a perfect world I'd love a player of higher quality as a 5th/6th choice but we are not really Chelsea who can stockpile players like Ziyech and Pulisic. Zaniolo is another player who is not likely to be excited by the prospect to play second fiddle at a club like Tottenham.
I thought it was 3-4 weeks?Bit OT, but how come Chelsea can stockpile players ? They got a new sugar daddy that I missed arriving ?
Back OT .Richarlison did his hamstring injury in the warmup of the last Brazil match. Madness that he played.
If the manager knew then that's an unforgivable dereliction of duty to his country.
Fucked Brazil up who went out of the competition and royally fucked us up with the 6-8 weeks.
Sorry, but the boy is a complete fuckwit.
Stop using facts, the guy clearly is angry and wants to exaggerate everything to emphasise his anger!I thought it was 3-4 weeks?
Hold on..it says above that the club assesses it at 6-8 weeks ..(see post no 4,725 on this page)Stop using facts, the guy clearly is angry and wants to exaggerate everything to emphasise his anger!
Think that was a sarcastic joke based on our history of injury recoveries being longer than expected.Hold on..it says above that the club assesses it at 6-8 weeks ..(see post no 4,725 on this page)
...and Richarlison is still a fuckwit btw
OK, but 3 weeks 6 weeks is not the point. To carry on playing for 84 mins with a hammy is not smart. I can't believe anyone here is defending it.Think that was a sarcastic joke based on our history of injury recoveries being longer than expected.
And it's not really on Richarlison, but the Brazil manager and the medical team. Richarlison understandably wanted to play considering it's a World Cup and he was on form. Injuries are a part of the game, they could happen at ANY time.

Form is not relevant when a player has a serious injury and as I said above the manager, if appraised of the injury is culpable also...and yes , still reckon the boy is dumb to do this.
Dumb perhaps but this was his first, possibly his only, World Cup. I would have done the same in his position.OK, but 3 weeks 6 weeks is not the point. To carry on playing for 84 mins with a hammy is not smart. I can't believe anyone here is defending it.

Good to see him back on the gym bike.
