Nothing advanced and anything being proposed is seen as a piss take right now . Has loads of interest just not serious buyers right now
Its January. I am sure teams are bi-curious and just seeing what we would take to move him on and free up a roster space.

When they see what Levy is packing, they lose their sense of curiosity.

Not surprised at all, seems most of Europe are broke. Was hoping we would potentially do some form of creative swap with Juve as they have a few good players on their books. Chiesa’s contract is running low and Soulé looks good amongst others. But I guess we need money for CM replacement

Not precisely but would say between 20-25 million round that figure. Currently packages of loans with options and poor loan fees been proposed . Europe has no money so really need a pl team he desires to step in.
If clubs in Europe have no money, I feel bargains are there to be had.

Progressive-Emile Hojbjerg.

I do think he is progressive albeit weirdly he doesn’t seem to have picked up the positions that Ange wants him to cover and that others do. I would have thought he’d be great at that.

With his “progressiveness” there is for me - again eye test not backed up with stats - a tendency to lose possession in trying to be progressive.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with turning the ball over trying to be progressive but what the stats don't tell you is how and where that possession was lost.

I've said it before I think he's a very good player, he's just not suited to how we now want to play. I think he will be very good in Italy or Spain.

Completely spot on.

It’s a shame he didn’t want to go to Fulham as they will definitely have the cash, but from his perspective I can see why he wants to hold out if he thinks Juve and Atletico are interested. Hopefully they stump up or he realises it’s not going to happen, wish him luck regardless as he’s a great pro

He 100% knows they are. They'd both take him tomorrow if the deal was right. Problem is the big European clubs don't want to give any money to the Premier league clubs unless they have to. They can see we have a depreciating asset taking up a squad space and so they are trying to get something for nothing knowing they have flashed their knickers to the player and he's keen.

Yeah I guess the words ‘he thinks’ were redundant in my post. My point was I can see why he turned down Fulham in the circumstances, but hopefully he either one of those elite names stumps up the cash or he realises we won’t fold and reconsiders other options

Italian knickers can be appealing, to be fair. Especially with Italian girls in. And especially when said girls can cook good Italian food.

I think he's very underrated. Provides decent cover for the defence, when he gets the ball in space is progressive with his passing, and probably one of our best goal scoring threats from CM. Just lacks that extra bit of dynamism and press-resistance that we would like for our ideal team. But compared to your average other PL midfielders, he should be worth at least £40M in this market.

No issue with him leaving as long as we bring in a replacement better suited to how we play, preferably a young prospect who is happy to build up minutes from the bench.

To be fair we got such great deals from Juve I wouldn't mind selling him cheap there. We also have to consider that while we will not get a lot selling abroad we can also pick up some bargains abroad. We've already got some great deals from Serie A and look close to getting another.
