Who knows but I'm gunna trust every credible source saying they changed the terms over some random guy on SC talking about his own guesses as if they are fact
A credible source said Danjuma was going to Everton. A credible source said Porro was a done deal. Credible sources are claiming now Levy has to get involved.

The fact is the deal is not yet done.

The fee of 45 million would come out in one go, which is the issue of the release clause. If we did that we probably (going by ITK on the funds we had at the start of the window) wouldn't have had funds for anything else, or potentially the 45 million to start with!
We can't afford 45m? Come off it. We're in the CL and 9th richest club in Europe.

Yeah i’m not really worried about this. Seems like a typical negotiating tactic from a president/chairman who reeeeally wants to get one over on the buying club.

We’ve got plenty experience with those types…

As I said, going by some itk at the start, we had limited funds due to still having too many players on the books on silly wages.
Same story every window I'm afraid, got to sell before we buy but don't sell because we don't want to take a loss. I'm so bored of the same lines that roll out every window with this club. We're still small time.

I've defended his role here today on this deal but in all honesty this wouldn't shock me in the slightest.

Am I the only one who's not really worried about this?

Im not either. I really want a RWB but for some reason I've not been invested in Porro but only because I know not a lot about him. Having said that, I do think it will happen but will be very funny if Man City came in and nabbed him.

I agree, we need to shift players, but for all we know we have accepted bids for players under what we got them for, but like royal, didn't want to move away.

Nope, been other examples where selling clubs have borrowed against the guaranteed income of a player they've sold in instalments.
Point taken on selling club borrowing on the instalment on the potentially sold player.

Man City would be crazy to sell him and Walker would be crazy to go there if he was going to leave. He could still play for pretty much any club in Europe.

Can we not go for him
Not sure how many clubs would take him as a wing back now. He plays in a back 3 for England and he's pretty much a centre mid for City. Almost never crosses the halfway line. He's still in good shape and fast but there's little evidence that he has what we need now.

What are you harping on about? You've forgotten the point you were even making and now arguing about something else. Best to agree to disagree because you'll end up just arguing with yourself mate

Romano in a video says it's still on, negotiations are ongoing, sporting changed the deal last minute. Nothing new but he's still saying the deal isn't dead

Still plenty of time for it to be back on, then off, then on again. Plenty of time.
