Why so nasty?Bye bye Vorm
Why so nasty?
Vorm has been a good servant and now it is time for him to move on.
He will go with my best wishes.
I hope Gazza is now number 2 and one of our younger homegrown players is promoted

Got to keep him in the cup semi at chelscum. i bet he is better at saving pens than Lloris!

I also feel confident with Gazza if we get to a penalty shootout. Hugo just sits there

So I had low expectations and thought we were signing Gomes 2.0.
But every game he has played for us, he hasn't put a foot (or glove) wrong. I have complete faith in him.
I love Hugo, but I can't even recall whether he did save any penalty for us and France
I remember Aguero missed one against him before - but he didn't save it. A penalty against us with Lloris in goal is basically a guaranteed goal. As you say, I love him - but at penalties he might as well not be there.
