ehh hard to say isn't it? I kinda hope he goes far with Senegal. Could be a great experience for him in his development.Ange says that Sarr is okay, and he's off to the AFCON. Good news, and hopefully Senegal won't make it too far in the tournament. Same with Mali.
On the subs bench yesterday for a warm up friendly with Niger but not used.
Nah, odds are he’ll come back and do his hammy first game.Wish him well but with our luck he will come back and have to miss two or three games like his last stint with Senegal.
Quite the opposite if the usual curse of winning international tournaments applies in the AFCON!Well they won the last one so you would think they'll go far
He will be HG. before he turns 22 he would have been registered for 3 years, starting from 2021 (when he was loaned).Has there ever been a definitive answer as to whether he will be considered club trained HG next year?
as I recall it seems the operative question is whether the fact he was technically signed after the season had started means he doesn’t have 3 full seasons with us or whether a full season is considered to start at the close of the xfer window in which case he would have 3.
Will he be considered "club-trained" as well, for Europe next season? He will be HG. before he turns 22 he would have been registered for 3 years, starting from 2021 (when he was loaned).

The problem, as I've understood it, is that he'll only be HG in the eyes of the PL. So in Europe it won't matter, but I think he'll count as U21 in Europe next season anyway. Will he be considered "club-trained" as well, for Europe next season?
I the question though is around this technicality in the European rules - “full season” vs “season” and whether a full season starts when the summer xfer window closes or when the 1st game of the season is played. He will be HG. before he turns 22 he would have been registered for 3 years, starting from 2021 (when he was loaned).
I suppose, it doesn't matter as his BD in September.I the question though is around this technicality in the European rules - “full season” vs “season” and whether a full season starts when the summer xfer window closes or when the 1st game of the season is played.
Birthday shouldn’t be relevant here. It’s 3 full seasons up to and including the season during which he turns 21 (I.e. this season).I suppose, it doesn't matter as his BD in September.
