Thought he was excellent and Bissouma looked much happier next to him. Just gives us so much presence in there. Eats up the ground whether chasing back or carrying the ball forward and is difficult to get past.....has that knack of reaching balls where you'd think he'd be be second favourite.

Wow. What a difference. Should be one of the first names on the team sheet when available.
I keep saying this, and people keep wanting to play other CMs.

None of our CMs are as complete a player as Sarr. He is exactly who you would want as a B2B midfielder - next to a more defensive Bissouma, and a more creative Maddison.

Makes a huge difference, quietly goes about his business doing everything needed and more. Crazy engine!

I think one underrated aspect of Sarr’s game is how he enables Porro. So many times he was covering that right-back area, which meant Porro could get forward and create, or even get into the box to take shots.

He was absolutely fantastic today and bossed the midfield. He is so important to how we play due to his stamina and work rate. I'd say it is Bissouma who is likely to lose his place rather than Sarr when Bentancur comes back.
We’ve such great options when everyone is fully fit, when bentancur is fully fit I think the dm position in this system is made for him. That’s no slight on bissouma he’s brilliant but it’s just what I’d like to see

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Great to have him back. Have no clue what we are going to do in Jan when him and Biss are away at the African Cup

His injury came at the worst possible time for the team, but might have done him some good individually.

He's a young player who is playing his first season at this level as a starter and sometimes a little time to recharge could do wonders.

His best game in a Spurs shirt for me, taking into consideration he was up against a very difficult opponent in Joelinton.

Out of possession he’s just absolutely amazing. And super vital too the way he covers ground. The cover he provides tracking back makes us so much stronger defensively. And still has the energy to get forward. Always positive with the ball and isn’t afraid to take risks carrying and passing. Absolutely the glue. What a player!

I get to a few games a year these days and without a season ticket can choose different places to sit for a different experience which is really fun - today i sat in row 1 a bit to the side of the away bench. Struck me how fast the game is being right on the sideline was the first thing overall, but of everyone was so impressed with Sarr for his age and coming back into the team from injury, he was awesome, so comfortable in the middle covered the ground so well, bar for a couple of overly ambitious passes he was a real force in the middle of the park and needs to start every game for the forseeable.
