He was MOTM for me , the way he covered the ground , runs off the ball, tracking back . Little bit more composure needed but still v young .
He was motm for me and anyone who knows football. Unreal talent and so underrated. Just turned 21. Haven’t seen a talent his good at spurs in years. I know people will disagree but I genuinely feel he’s that good a talent

I’m genuinely intrigued how good he could become.

I thought he was very good tonight, his care with his weight of passing has massively improved.

I love watching him play, he’s unlike any other player.

You could say that about Udogie and Van de Ven.

We could do with an attacking player that fits that type and we are going to have some serious hitters.

I could, I said it tho last season but dinoBall stopped playing him. This lad has all the attributes to be one of the best around, not just for us. Agree vDV and doggie are huge talents too but I am not in there player threads!

As an aside it took Ange just a mess of a preseason to identify Bissoma and Sarr as his starting CMs. That to me shows Ange knows who is and who is not a good footballer. Compare that to Conte (last season) and ETH at Manure who both seem to struggle to recognise their best players.

And we still have fans over on the forbidden site (Twitter) saying that Bentancur slots in straight away ahead of Sarr? Get a grip. The kids class and it will take some doing to get him out of the starting 11.

MOTM and has room to keep getting better. My favourite player of the season so far, even though they’ve all been brilliant.

At this stage Bentancur back doesn’t necessarily even improve our first team that much given how Sarr is playing but gives us elite level depth and options to rotate

I thought it was fantastic that we were able to bring on players last night our we didn’t drop in quality. Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Emerson and Johnson all came on and played as well as their counterpart in the side.

Our rival fans, and us to be fair, have said that our squad depth isn’t the greatest but actually I think it’s pretty good. Just a few obvious gaps (CB).

Our depth gets truly tested when we inevitably have injuries in a few key areas at the same time. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen all season and that we can keep the majority of our strongest 11 fit and firing all season.

I think Bentancur is going to be a good rotation for both Bissouma and Sarr as he’s got the class to play both positions well IMO but I agree with you, it’s going to be a while before he’s got his place back in the starting 11. Those 3 options for the 6 and 8 positions is really strong, looking forward to it.

100%, zero doubt in bentancur’s ability it’s more of this mentality that he somehow goes straight back into the 11 based on what he did last season, and completely negating the fact that Sarr has been one of our best players this season.

I’m more than happy to give Bents minutes where necessary, and allow him a slow build up back to fitness, but he by no means pushes Sarr out the squad automatically which is what’s been suggested. He has a lot of work to do.

I would say CB depth, LB depth and LWF starter (unless BJ or Gil really step up) are the main areas to improve. Then cover for Maddison that is better than GLC

BJ is tailor made for that LWF spot, I would say we need adequate cover for the RWF, but otherwise I agree with your assessment here. We desperately need cover in those positions, and hopefully we can address one or two during the January TW.

Yeah I wouldn’t disagree. I’m excited about Johnson and think he could become a really good player for us but CB and LB are areas where we are short of the required back up quality.

Yep I expect January will increase our depth

I didn't make Sarr MotM against Palace but he was up there and he'll get plenty of them in time.
To think that he began this season as the fill in because Bentancur was injured, a good youngster with talent but still a couple of years to develop and is now a starter with nobody arguing otherwise is remarkable. His game hasn't changed from when he was at Metz, he was the best passer of a ball in that team, always found his man and never lost it with the ability to create his own space but he has matured in spades and is now so comfortable playing anywhere box to box.

At the moment I think Bissouma is more likely to be replaced by Bentancur than Sarr. I love Bissouma but he's too sloppy at times still. He needs to up his consistency now Bentancur is back. Sarr has been more consistent with his performances and has to be a nailed on starter at the moment.

Suspect you’ll get lots of disagrees with this but i just like to chip in and say i agree slightly. the last few games specifically, i think he’s had sloppy moments. I was glad he was replaced on friday as he was way too cool in possession imo.

That said, he’s generally very solid and has made us tick this year. It’s good we have options centrally

He is absolutely top draw , just needs to cut out the mistakes. A couple of chances were gifted to Palace in the 2nd half where Bissouma got sloppy. Not sure if its just a bit of complacency. Not saying he should be replaced but just that he's more under threat than Sarr at this moment in time. For me Sarr has been less complacent and doesn't stop giving everything even when we're in front.
