Yep, writing is on the wall for PEH IMO.

Again he was outshone by Skipp, and it's been like that all season.
Think there is great competition by the two and both have a place in the squad. In a lot of home games would like a more creative midfield beside one of Skipp or PEH.

Thought he was the best player on the pitch. Keeps getting better with the ball, growing in confidence, looks more mobile recently and of course winning all the 50 50s out there.

Has this knack of being in the right place too which is special. Lots of good players don't have that. It's why I have always kept an eye on him.

Conte is the right coach also, as long as he hangs around long enough. He has the right mentality to do the work to go along with what comes naturally, which as I said is quite rare.

I'm old enough to of watched football Italia on C4 and remember Conte in the Juve team, him and Skipp have the same profile and similar skillsets.

Poch played him as a nipper

Mourinho stated he will be our future captain

Conte chucks him straight in and says he can go to the top if he wants.

Limited.

… when Conte likes him, it’ll be nothing but a confidence builder for our Skippy. Felt he was the player - plus Moura - who went the extra mile today. Good on you Oliver

So good but as I’ve said since the summer he needs someone else of similar quality in midfield to help replace him for some games because he will tire and not have good games because it’s a long season. He needs help in there.

Fantastic player. He has bags of talent, as seen at all levels that he has played but he also has the total elite mentality that will help all the way to him becoming a top player.

Loved that run when he drove forward today. I didn’t know he had that in his locker.

Those sliding hook tackles where he bounces up and starts a counterattack? Each time he does that he has more confidence to do it against a better player. I’m excited for him.

Spot on! I haven't seen a Spurs player win possession so cleanly since peak Ledley.

He is performing excellent for his age. However, as he develops, will he tweak his game to be slightly more attacking? For sure he is fanastic at his defensive game, but can he add goals or will he stay in the 'Makelele' mould?
