Not to worry, we've got the best CM in Europe at dribbling round the same man 5 times.
I assume you are referring to Dembele.

What you said isn't even true.

FWIW, as much as I like Bentaleb, Winks has been hugely impressive so far and can fill the void.

Somehow I doubt Shalke would have lost every game if Dembele and Dier was their central midfield pairing. And it looks a pretty piss poor league outside of Bayern and Dortmund.

So apparently he isn't good enough because Schalke lost their first set of games under a new manager and pretty much a new team

LOL

I'm currently watching Shalke vs Hoffenheim and he has just had an absolute nightmare. Gave the ball away with a sloppy pass under no pressure in his own half and that led to a Hoffenheim goal a few moments later.

Got to say it was very similar to the many times he did that for us.

He's not going to be a top player - he can't go forward and back as well as a CM needs to be able to

I'm a fan of Bentaleb but lets not rewrite history he has done it lots of times we aren't all just imagining it. He did it twice in one game against Liverpool at Anfield a few seasons ago, just because Sturridge didn't finish the chances doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I thought you were saying about the many times he gave the ball away that lead to a goal.

All players give the ball away. If a player has a good passing accuracy of say 80%, it means one out of every five passes goes astray. Bentaleb's no different than any other player in that respect. He came into the team aged 19 and played well for a season and a half. He did well for us, and he's still only 21. The club thought so highly of him that they tied down to a five year contract last summer. Ok, it hasn't worked out, but he played well in a lot of important games for us.

I don't think many of the players we've released in recent years have gone on to Pogba us.
