Bullied Darmian out of the game today, nice to see him confident enough to have a go. Poch clearly told him to come on and run at the full back and the first time he did it he had him on toast which gave him a visible boost in confidence.

His balls skills are terrible - at one point he nearly tackled himself and ran the ball straight off the pitch - but he's very big and strong and against some full-backs who are easily intimidated that can be a real asset.

I saw that and cracked up... Like the guy is shit... He played well today but he looks so clumsy which can be an advantage as the opposing defender is bamboozled... Alot of it is by accident rather than design.

Today was best case scenario. His youth tactic of kick it through the player worked today.

I still laugh that this is literally his move. No tricks or anything. Just force the ball through their legs and hope the pinball is on your side.

Just got back. He did well today. Must have been interested as big game, facing his France midfield colleague Pogba etc.
Power and pace that they struggled to cope with.
A great improvement but it doesn't amount to much- he can barrel down the right wing and whacks over a cross without aiming for anyone in particular. I can't see that making us more effective.

Definitely a clumsy player but strong and direct at times. He just reminds me of a bulldozer player, many ricochets of his shins and others and the ball either falls to the defender or nicely in front of him. A squad player at best but nice he put in a good performance because he's been getting it in the neck a bit

I can't believe we paid £30 million for someone so terrible with the ball at his feet. His skill set which is basically one skill and consists of him booting it past players and running, is only going to be useful in a handful of games.

Scandalous.

Hate to say it but imagine if we had taken Zaha, I think he finally seems to get it this year!

One thing that annoyed me was him hanging around and then walking off last with Pogba and another United player. Hugo went and did the hug thing but immediately left them to it whilst he slowly trudged off with the United guys. Doesn't look like a member of the team yet.

I was sat with the United fans and even from the other side of the pitch he looked massive. Must be strong as an ox and he needs to start using it to get by people.

As long as we never resort to booing him when he comes on or warms up.

That was a total embarrassment from united fans on Fellini

We've booed our own players disgracefully but can't recall us doing that when they've came out to warm up

So you're allowed to fraternise with the enemy but he isn't? hmmmmm

Seriously though whenever i play against my mates guess what, i speak to them before, during and after the game.

Some of you are just getting desperate now.......

Maybe the problem is that there's no one to aim at?

Our midfield and forward line are so slow, whenever the fullbacks/Sissoko or whoever get down the line there's no one in the box.

He's not quite clearly that. The thought of him having a lot of the ball, in the middle of he park, with his touch and passing, and replacing a Dembele or Wanyama, chills me to the bones. Only place at all I see him is far fwrd in Lamelas place

I'm a massive Dembele fan but he's been rubbish this year and he does slow down our play.

If Sissoko were to be given a chance in midfield, which i hope he is, i'd like to see Dembele at 10 picking out passes and creating space.

I think we might have done it to Bentley at West Brom.

Maybe the Utd fans were bored. I wouldn't like to have to sit through that attritional shit that Jose served up yesterday either.

Amazing.

I dig this up after he played WELL.
Initially people are in agreement but within 24 hours people are picking holes in it until eventually he's back to being to worst player ever.

He was literally the only Spurs player on the pitch yesterday who tried to have a real go, let loose and try something other than a sideways or backwards safety pass.

We've missed that since a Welshman left.

I thought the boos were as much for the manager as the player.

Don't ever use Bale and Sissoko in the same sentance

Its amazing how many rubbish players we have, and players out of form. Poch must be one hell of a manager to take such rubbish and make them a top-5 squad....

think he showed some potential - maybe starting to get sharper....still needs to work on his fitness though.
Question: IF Levy gets the chance to see Tommy Carroll to Swansea (possible for 10-11 million it seems) + get 20 something back for MoSi (Italy) he might be interested but would certainly want Poch's blessing. Would Poch agree to sell both and reinvest the money or do you think he would keep MoSi and give him this season + a summer of full training and into next season before possibly letting hm go?

Can we not call him MoSi for the love of God?

And I would hope that if another club came in and allowed us to recoup most of the fee for Sissoko we would bite their hand off and reinvest the money. Whether Poch feels the same way we can only speculate.
