We only feel like we’re cursed because we never have enough squad depth to deal with these things.

Exactly. KDB out being at City would kill most teams, yet they're top and into the knock outs of the UCL already still playing well with lots of goals.

Given our doctors and their record with putting off surgeries only to have to do them in the end, still not filled with confidence. Fingers crossed, though, that he's not gonna be out too long.
Agree to an extent however they seemingly took a much more cautious view with Bentancur didn't they as opposed to rushing him back.

Must err on the side of caution here with Micky partly down to his importance in the system and how this injury limits (or potentially limits) his biggest asset which is his speed.

Sweep stakes on when they announce he will be out for 6 months as surgery is required?

It's still positive news nonetheless also. May still be a while but at least that news suggest that it's not the worst it could be.

If we get away with a grade 2 tear and not a 3, which would have required surgery and months out, it'll be a win. A grade 1 would be a miracle, given that people in the stadium said it sounded like a gunshot when it happened.

Bit unfair on the med team this. Usually they advise by giving out all the information they have available regards prognosis and timeframes etc and it's always the player who makes that final decision. You'd be amazed how many of them will avoid surgery with very small odds of recovering without, in order to play on in the short term. Richalisson is a prime example.

A Grade 2 would be looking at optimistically 3-4 weeks or at worst, 8 weeks.

Fingers crossed he can be involved in our December fixtures.

Is it them who put off surgery or is it the player?

What sounded like a gunshot?

I blame this attitude towards our medical team on Mourinho and Conte, the effects of their constant complaining about them will linger for some time.

The hamstring going. I've seen comments from people saying they heard it which seems crazy to me inside the stadium with all that noise.
Yeah that sounds a bit unlikely. Maybe Micky crying out in pain is what they’re on about.
