Not sure it's bad news either though, especially if he's up and about unassisted.
Couldn't see any strapping in the photo so maybe it was just a severe cramp?
It's hopeful, maybe overly optimistic but I've had both cramp and I've done my hammy and with the latter, I was not up and walking within two days.
As I said earlier, the cramp was probably more painful initially too.

Here's hoping.

But would severe cramp give swelling?

TypicalIy, is there any correlation between the extent of swelling and severity of strain/tear?

If you are experiencing leg cramps along with swelling in your legs, these symptoms may indicate your body has a vascular problem

I'm here all week for medical advice

Did the cramp cause swelling?
No and it was just within a couple of hours that I couldn't feel a thing.
The hammy caused all sorts of swelling and bruising, like the back of my leg was purple.
I don't know what I did to it in terms of grade, tear etc because I'm a bloke innit, so obviously didn't see a doctor and plus, I did it during the parents race at my kids nursery (which I was leading at the time 😁) which was rather embarrassing but taught me that a warm up doesn't consist of a coffee and a fag!

Just thinking out loud that maybe the scan has been put back not because of swelling but because it may not actually be needed, they're going to assess it over the next couple of days.

Can post whatever I like mate, I only saw it and thought I’d share.

If it’s bullshit then I’m the happiest man on here. Chill your beans by friend.
Of course you can post whatever you like.

Wasn't telling you not to post something. The point was, everyone's on tenterhooks, and so, yeah - read the room, friend.

Is Ange's press conference tomorrow? They normally spread them out on Thurs/Friday so maybe tomorrow if we are the first game of the weekend?

Physio 1: ‘Wow the fans are going crazy right now over whether Micky is out for 6 months or 6 days. Good job we’ve got the scan booked for tomorrow to clear it up once and for all eh?’

Physio 2: ‘Let’s move the scan back to Friday.’

Physio 1: ‘Huh, why?’

With a wide grin on his face Physio 2 pulls up a chair, opens his popcorn and clicks on Spurs Community.

Why aren’t we allowed nice things. Just like bentancur last season. Everything is finally going well and the football gods decide after ten games that’s enough fun for you lot. Will be such a miss

We literally ARE cursed. The football gods are to us what Hera was to Hercules.

Christ on a bike it’s hard to support this club. 20 years of fucking non-stop, UTTER madness.

But we won the Carling Cup. 🤣

On the topic, I do not think MVDV had Cramp, I hope I am wrong.

It makes me wonder whether we are delaying any news to rule him out of any possible participation in national team duty. Probably optimistic but may be a factor to consider.

If that photo yesterday is as reliable as we think, we might not get any official updates until Ange’s press conference. The club wouldn’t make any other comments unless it’s a significantly long lay off. Fingers crossed!

We only feel like we’re cursed because we never have enough squad depth to deal with these things.
Also the better the player the more we are going to feel the impact when they get injured. Not like the old days where a player like Chris Perry got injured and nobody gave a shit.

Oh the delights of having a back four consisting of Perry, Scales, Thatcher and Vega.. World class:cry:
