The aggregator clearly went on google and just posted recovery times from what they saw there but got it wrong.

There is a PL physio in my family so I have learnt quite a bit about injuries over the past 10 years and received advice for my own hamstring injuries (among others!)

Is he a physio at Spurs? If so, ignore his advice and just get the surgery.

If we were to let him play against Villa he’d be at huge risk of injuring it again and making it worse. It would be just under 3 weeks from when he did the first injury and I think it’s highly unlikely it was a minor grade 1. Would be incredible if it was though!

VdV probably just trying to be positive and say he will be back soon.

I think he's just saying it's a matter of waiting... Ange isn't a bullshitter and he doesn't seem like the type who'd care for the mind games nonsense so if he says we won't see Micky until the New Year I believe him.

If he’s back Jan 1 it’s still a huge win and plenty of season left to salvage top 4/5. Anything sooner than that is a Christmas miracle.

He himself knows best. Not sure why others are more so believable then the man himself TBH. Not like he could hide anything from Ange and the medical department and surely he had scans done as well. I have been saying no surgery is the best news to come out of this injury. Miracle or not if he comes back earlier, it's already a blessing. And I certainly won't stop him from playing (earlier than expected) if Ange allows!

As with Maddison no point in rushing either back . We are going to need them more than ever come January when we have to do without Bissouma, Sarr and son when they are away with there countries for 3-4 weeks
