I have the stream on.

Fabrizio said Barcelona are confident but within the players family there is a split. But went on to reiterate that Barca are expecting the green light today from their end because they asked the player to tell them if he's joining by the end of day.

In any case he said that the transfer would be for the summer regardless of which club the player joins so there isn't the same urgency.

Don't shoot the messenger please lads

It’s sorta crazy (as a fan of the club for 40+) years, to think about how much the football world has changed in the last ten years. The idea that there was a special prospect out there, that is sincerely deliberating between us and Barca is sorta surreal. Yes, our stature has grown. But it’s insane how much theirs has shrunk.
...and just wait until Brentford make a last minute offer for him!

Djurgården's chief youth director Peter Kisfaludy on Lucas Bergvall:

"I spoke with family last night, when they entered the plane in Barcelona to go home. It is still 50-50 between Barcelona and #Tottenham".

"Both teams felt really, really good. I think he is having a very rough time deciding, but in a good way."

"Tottenham has been in the picture a long time. Tottenham visited Bergvall in stockholm 10 days ago. Got a very good impression."

"New team entered the bidding this morning, a big team in England, but the family do not want more to think on now. "Decision is between Barca and Tottenham, 50-50."

Barcelona is career suicide right now
yes but Barcelona is still Barcelona. Even as the biggest clubs in the world are in financial distress or in the case of United, disarray with their footballing operation, they are still a tremendous pull to any player.

Not that you are wrong, but need to look deeper.

United are broke, but Barca is like "may not exist a year from now" broke.

Barca seem to be in denial about how much trouble they are in. It's like they're hoping that acting as if everything is fine will just make all their problems go away.

They're accelerating towards a cliff edge.

I’ll be having a party the day the scummy club go out of business. Same with Real

Regardless, that we're no longer quickly dismissed out of hand when going up against the likes of Bayern and Barca these days is slightly surreal.

Very welcome but surreal.
