I'm fairly certain when Atleti win the league this season Pablo will be back to tell us all it was Trips that won it for them on his own.Hearing rumors of an Atleti fans forum user named pablo10 praising him endlessly

Despised by many Spurs fans (some of whom are old enough to remember the Ginger Pele) for not being Roy Of The Rovers. I wish him well.
I think plenty were happy with him when his confidence matched his ability/performance.
The WC apparently (by his words and observation) altered that, and he didn't come across as well on the pitch. The pointing and blaming at other players that was observed after his defensive errors also served to sully the opinions of him.
I have no idea why he's a defender and not a midfielder though. I assume it's his mobility that holds him back, as he seemed to be almost Beckham-esq in his ball playing.
I’m not surprised with how he’s conducting himself. He’s always come across as arrogant. Then the World Cup overinflated his ego. It was very noticeable on the pitch. ALWAYS someone else’s fault.Well I wish him well but having a pop saying rightly or wrongly that Athletico was a step up is just petty and his way of saying the club be it Poch or Levy made a mistake .
Within his statement lies a clue about his character and possibly the reason he was not wanted anymore .
He could have just said "I am happy to join Athletico" and left it at that but he had to add the step up. part.
Myself for one as I have said I wish him well but am not sorry to see him go and the predicament of the right back situation leaves us in an awkward position but Poch was still prepared to let him go.
There was something said or going on we did not know about otherwise the club would have held on to him but no they were prepared to let him go it says a lot in my eyes albeit we don't know exactly what.
Well he is still talking about usI see we're still digging out Trippier even though he is no longer a Spurs player

The move to Atletico has done the world of good for him. Diego Simeone is clearly a hard taskmaster and Trippier is now looking a much better defender and more mobile. He played very well last night. Good luck to him.
Would we want him back with Spurs? Nah, Aurier is such a wonderful replacement.

He was terrible last year. Anyone who thinks differently is just re-writing history. They are both pretty even in their levels of ability and brainfarts on defense. We'd be just as negative towards him as we are to Aurier.
It’s actually freezing cold in the winter with no beach.Should let bygones be bygones.
I am sure atletico is a step up in terms of how they're challenging for trophies whilst we are already out of the title race haha.
It's a step up in his life... It's living in a sunny city rather than grey London. I suspect he means a step up in quality of life...
