First time I've seen him play was this week and I think the biggest compliment I can give him is that I don't think he looked out of place.
Playing a few games in Argentina and then making the jump to playing in England is huge. He looks like he's going to be able to cope. Especially after seeing him give Carroll a couple of sly kicks off the ball.
The real deal.
Sanchez is 18 months older, 21 to Foyth's 19, so not right to say they're same age. For a 19 year old with so few pro appearances Foyth looks a hell of a prospect. He looks like a real talent. But he clearly lacks experience. Sanchez (same age) has already played more than 100th professional games (not to mention 2 finals in continental cups) but it is just 12th first-team game for Foyth.
he's only 19?! I almost forgot that!
If Sterling had not make an appearance, is he the youngest debutant for us in UCL?
loved that moment he proactively intercepted an APOEL ball in midfield and immediately surged into the box. That's the type of smart clever defender/overall play I expect from him for years to come. He's raw in his defending, but I think he's destined to become a great. Just needs to become more comfortable which will come with expierence.
