Would've loved this guy 3-4 years ago, but struggling to see how he copes with the fast paced PL at the age he is now. Kostic over Perisic for me. Onions

He had no problems chasing Cuadrado for 120 minutes in Cup Final, and scored goals in 99th and 102nd minute. His stamina is elite.

As much as I hate him, Ibra still going at 40 too. Today's fans think it's like FIFA and players drop the moment they hit 30 (bar goalkeepers).

For those that might not have followed Perisic's career closely, it's understandable that you might have missed some of the lesser appreciated aspects of the player - the kind of intangible assets that these club youtubers tend not to have a clue about while they gush about xG.
It's one of these factors that leads me to think he will indeed join Spurs and that is him being an extremely committed and ambitious player with an elite mentality.
Perisic has won all there is to win in both Germany and Italy and he knows this is his last opportunity for a new experience. Moving to a new league, at his age no less, is a massive challenge but it's exactly the kind of challenge he would relish IMO. The money doesn't hurt either of course.
Another reason he's taking his time to decide whether to renew at Inter is because he has doubts about the sporting project. It's the same reason Conte left - not wanting to be on a sinking ship. Given our financial issues, the club is in an absolutely absurd situation of having to raise €60m in capital gains (not cash) and reduce the wage bill by 15% for the second year in a row. You can obviously imagine how that affects the quality of squad having to sell key players every year.
I see people a little bit apprehensive about his age or his injury but I wouldn't worry. Despite the ironic timing, he's very rarely injured and his fitness is insane. Anecdote: Perisic ran 16km in 120 minutes in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus (scoring 2 goals) and the very next morning he was back at Inter's training ground and on the exercise bike.
Some other things that you guys might not appreciate is that his defensive contribution, positioning and tactical intelligence are on a world class level. It's why he was able to adapt to the LWB position so well despite spending his career as a forward. He always knows where he should be, which spaces to cover, which runs to make, and his tackling is pretty damn good too considering he's not a defender by trade. His heading is one of his strongest assets and as you guys know he's also ludicrously two-footed. I think he's the only player I've ever seen taking (and scoring) penalties with both feet. Dude has practically scored a third of his goals with his head, a third with his left foot and a third with his right.
Finally, Perisic is a big-game player. He's scored goals in the World Cup final and semi-final, Coppa Italia final, in Champions League knockout games, in derbies against Milan and Juventus. That's something incredibly under-appreciated.
IMO one of the most underrated players in world football over the last 5 years or so. I've watched a lot of Spurs in the past few years and even more this season because of Conte and the Serie A players he's brought in. Perisic is simply on another level compared to Sessegnon or Reguilon. He would be an immense signing for you guys. With all due respect I don't think many of you realise how good he is.

Gosens was widely considered the best left wing back in Serie A. Last season he scored an insane 11 goals and provided 5 assists in 32 league games. He's coming off a lengthy injury but he hasn't got a sniff yet because of the level Perisic has playing at.

It's a shame Inter have such financial shackles to deal with. Must be very frustrating as a fan but at least you have had recent success to enjoy.
I hope Inter find a way to remain competitive next year despite their issues.
