Yeah Kulu was great...tough call between the two.
Kulu was brilliant 2nd half when we actually brought him into the game. He was completely isolated first half and hardly saw any of the ball. 2nd half though he was fantastic. I would side with Perisic yesterday as I felt he was a danger throughout the match and one of a very few bright spots 1st half.

H88, do you think we another option between attack and midfield? Do you think the Ukrainian lad would be enough?

Some ITK page that posts info (I know) mentions we are monitoring Gordon and Harrison but neither club wants to sell. Not sure where either would fit. Also looking at Olise for next summer.

How about this summer? Where's all the cash that we were willing to spunk on Maddison? Olise would be perfect in that he could play in a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.

It said something about waiting to see if he develops and being worried about his injury record.

7 matches, 4 starts, 3 assists. He will start scoring sooner or later too, he had 8 goals in Seria A last year.

He came through in the end, but thought he was really part of the problem for 80 minutes. His passing was horrific and he didn’t seem to be able to control the ball.
Obviously great cross for the goal but needs to be a lot better for most of the game as a senior experienced player

I'm going to be controversial, but sessegnons mobility adds a bit more. I'd play him v city

Love his leadership on the pitch. Seems like he is always around calming guys down. For a club that historically loses control in big moments he will be invaluable.

PS….can we get him in all corners please over Sonny.

Agree about his mobility and he will get forward quicker. Perisic has so much more quality on the ball though, especially crossing. Both are fantastic players in Conte's 3-4-3 system - we are very lucky.

I've seen a few things recently talking about how Perisic is the root of Son's woes. The hypothesis is that he is now occupying space high and wide that Son once used to and now Son is being forced inside and crowded out of the games.

I'm not too sure I agree and tbh I love what he brings to our side. On the subject of Son, however I do think there is merit to this thinking as there are times where Son will have stayed with the fullback and look to run that channel.

My personal feeling is that dropping a forward and bringing in another midfielder would leave some more space for a front two to operate in. And that could be any two from Kane, Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski imo. Then again, we would need Kulu to perhaps play as that third CM as I wouldn't be particularly confident in a three of Hojbjerg, Bentancur and Bissouma.
