What is this “history” that he’s gonna make by joining HS?

I remember being so excited by his signing.

A world class player that was probably wasted by our previous manager and then gets injured when the perfect manager for him comes along.

Oh well, these things can happen.

All the best for the rest of your career, Ivan.

HS winning the league for the first time since 2005. Dinamo Zagreb has been dominant. 17 titles out of the last 18. Hajduk has been second the last 2 seasons.

Nikola Kalinic went back to the club on the same sort of deal as Perisic last season. Hajduk are currently 6pts clear at the top but have played 1 more than Rijeka and 2 more than Dinamo who are 7pts back.

Anyone know if and why Vuskovic has not played a game for Hadjuk Split this season? He played 8 games last season.

Hajduk have a real chance to win the league for the first time in many many years so they won't play him unless they have to. They have older and currently better CBs and best defence in the league.

Apparently his wages will be €1 per month to play for them. But that's according to daily mail
I saw this reported on SkySports last night too. So I guess we’re not paying him, as this sounds like a generous thing for him to do, to just get back to Croatia. I would think he’s gonna be more of a mentor around that squad, which would be cool for him.

I would have thought that we are paying him until his contract runs out (either in full or majority of his salary) and his 1 Euro deal with Zagreb starts in the summer?

He never felt like our player
I actually know what you mean here. I think it's due to a player joining at the end of his career and being quite a subdued personality. The likes of Klinnsman, Davids and Van de Vaart were much more demonstrative and easier for fans to identify with.

That'd be my guess as well. If we're not still paying him then why is he on loan rather than us just agreeing to terminate his contract by mutual consent and him signing for Hajduk?

Perisic made the bench for Hajduk Split at the weekend. Didn't get on but also has a call up for Croatia. I know it was impossible to know, but had we had a crystal ball I wonder whether we'd have loaned him if he was going to be back in the first week of March?

Ivan Perisic makes surprise return, Rodon drops future hint as Ndombele recovers

It's time to check in on Tottenham Hotspur's large group of loan players as they continue to get game time across England and the continent

Great to hear but no way he would be up to speed in this league by end of the season.
